Great quality and cost efficient
This is a high-quality shredder with great features. I especially like the ability to shred paper clips as I often frequently miss removing some from papers being shredded. This can damage or ruin shredders of lesser quality. I also like that it operates quite quietly during continuous shredding.

Excellent shredder
This shredder works exceptionally well. It can shred stacks of paper at a time using the feeder, or a few sheets at the time using the manual feed. It shreds paper into tiny pieces that are more secure and that fill up the collection bin much more slowly than shredders producing cut strips of paper. This is a definite improvement, and worth the extra price, over smaller shredders with less capacity.

Nice Unit With One Flaw…
This is one of the best shredders I’ve had/used. The confetti cutting action helps to ensure that the documents are secure. It’s also quieter than most other units, though a bit higher pitch. So far, after about six bin fulls no jams in the document feeder, nor the cutters. The one flaw seems to be the overfill protection. When the bin get full the power light starts flashing, but the unit doesn’t stop. One time I intentionally continued to feed some paper into the unit (just a few sheets), to see what would happen: it continued to work, but when I removed the bin it had overflowed down the back (interior) of the unit. Minor mess to clean up. Lesson: When the power button starts to flash, stop shredding and empty the bin.

Great Quality, no problems. Been using it for months now. Recommend it!
Reviewed on 2026-Jul-08. Been using this for several months now to give a chance at problems or failure, but so far, it's working just as advertised! I'm very happy with it. I have two other shredders so these devices are not new to me and I believe this to be a quality model. I would definitely buy another one if needed. (thought to myself, maybe I should be another just to have one on standby. Seems as time goes, equipment gets cheaper so who knows about the future model, but THIS model is excellent!)

Exceptionally Quiet and Powerful Shredder With a Questionable Designed Bin And Very Odd Casters
First I must offer the caveat that my review is written during the honeymoon, and I am in the afterglow of using a shredder that can actually shred more than one sheet of 20 pound paper and not rip your eardrums out while doing so. Positives: --Quiet. The loudest thing on this shredder is the pip...pip...pip...sound of the paper being chewed up. No primeval screams of an under powered motor that rivals a Skill circular saw. It is as though the engineers at Bonsaii decided to devote the power of the shredder to actually shredding paper rather than ripping your eardrums out. The motor and drive train are very quiet and occasionally you will hear the internal fan come on to cool the unit and it is also very quiet. I read in the reviews that this was a quiet shredder, but I was actually amazed by how quiet it is. --Power. I view maximum sheet specifications as being something on the order of EPA gas mileage estimates, you are never going to see those results. As such I sort of have a 50% rule. The shredder spec is 14 sheets, I go with 7 to 9. It chomps right though 8 sheets of 20 pound paper with out even noticing. This is an 800% improvement over my old shredder and I don't have to wear ear protection. I don't know how well it will handle 14 sheets and I don't intend to find out, I am quite pleased with 8 sheets, why push the window. Duty Cycle. This shredder will outlast me. I used it for a half hour straight with no cooling problems. Occasionally the internal fan came on, but otherwise there was not a hint that it was overworked or overheated. It is rated for 2 hours of continuous duty. I have no reason to believe that it wouldn't make that. By using a lower sheet feed rate, I think this shredder could go well past 2 hours, but I have no proof of that. --Emergency Stop: Prominent on the front of the shredder is an illuminated stop button that allow you to rapidly stop the shredder if you overload it or worse got an article of clothing caught. If this thing grabs your necktie, you can stop it rapidly. The switch does have a bit of a negative in that it is very easy to bump if you are rapidly feeding a lot of little items. I just have to get the muscle memory to stay clear of the button. --Weight. This shredder only weighs 25 pounds. In my research I found many shredders with far less duty cycle that exceeded 30 pounds. One highly rated shredder was 39 pounds, and yet had a 30 minute duty cycle with a 40 minute cool down. --Bin Removal. The bin is on wheels and it rolls out easily. It has firm restraints, so the bin remains in place until you remove it. The Not So Positives: The Bin. While removing the bin from the shredder is quite easy, dumping it is not. For as well designed as the rest of this shredder is the bin is disappointing. Those nice firm restraining posts that keep the bin firmly inside the shredder are inside the front of the bin where the paper collects rather than on the outside at the edges. In the back of the bin there are posts to support the temporary CD shred collector bin. The front corners and window mounts have reinforcement struts. All these protrusions serve to resist the shredded paper from falling out of the bin while trying to dump it. I found as I filled a 30 gallon garbage bag that each successive emptying got more difficult trying to wrestle the paper out of the bin and keep the shreds in the bag. My solution is to keep two bags on hand. Dump the shredder bin into an empty 30 gallon bag, and then transfer the contents of that bag to another bag that you can easily fill up, so that you are always emptying the bin into an empty bag. Also I quickly decided my old habit of tamping down the shreds in the bin will not work with this shredder. I will level out the pile to the back but resist tamping, it just makes it that much harder to empty the bin. --Casters. The unit has small casters already installed. Oddly, they are unidirectional. The shredder moves sideways but if you try to pull it toward you or push away from you, the casters scrape against the floor giving a sensation that they will fail if you continue. If you need to move the shredder, steering requires you to pick up one side to get the casters off the floor, or scrape the casters along and hope for the best. I turned the shredder upside down and checked to make sure they were not locked swivel casters. Nope, all four casters are tiny fixed direction casters which will not work well on thick carpets. It kind of strikes me like those descriptions mathematicians use to explain 4 dimensional space, "flatland." This shredder travels well in the fictional one dimensional world of "Lenth-land." It is a very odd setup. I give this shredder 4 and a half stars. The casters and the difficulty emptying the bin are not that important to me compared to the great power, long duty cycle, and low noise level of this unit. Because I am still in the afterglow, I rounded up to 5 stars.

Very Quiet and Efficient
We've had a good name brand shredder for at least 6 years. It has served it purpose and lately started making noises and not shredding well. Even when lubed with the shredder lubrication sheets it begins making noise (knocking or soft banging type noise), so I knew it was near it's end. So the hunt was on for a new replacement. After several hours of searches and review reading I decided the Bonsaii 110 was the way to go. It arrived a day sooner than expected, so this was a pleasant start. After a brief read of the instruction leaflet I put it to work. The first item of note was the lack of noise, this machine is pretty darn quiet for a shredder. It chomps away making little bits out of paper and envelopes with little effort. Manually fed it take stacks of 10 sheets with no issue, it states up to 12 sheets but I didn't gage the paper thickness so I didn't want to push it. staples pages and credit cards go right through with no fuss. The only flaw was the auto feed system, it works but the pages have to be totally flat to feed through individually as it is intended for. If there are folds in the stacked pages multiple pages feed at the same time. While that didn't cause an issue for me, I saw some reviews complaining of a paper jamb with the auto feed. I can only imagine that this was their problem as no matter what I ran through it it ate it up. I ran the machine for about 3 hours with only brief breaks in between for paper sorting and stacking for the next batch of shredding. During this time I filled the bin about 3 times. So in conclusion I can honestly say that my decision to choose this shredder was a good one. Quiet, and thorough in doing it's job is all you can ask for in a shredder at this price point. Great machine for the money!

Great home office declutter tool!
Right out of the box this thing shredded a stack of papers that I had been saving for it. It's much quiet than my old shedder that struggles with 2 pages at a time and was very loud. It fits right in the same area in my home office where I had my old one and with wheels on it, I can roll it in and out with ease. It went thru about 40 pieces of paper in just a couple of minutes, so it's very quick. Highly recommend!

Home Or Small Business Paper Shredder
I am loving this paper shredder. it is much quieter than all the previous residential paper shredders I've used. The shredded paper is very fine. Having up to 60 continuous minutes of shredding is why I made the purchase. I see it's role in a home office or small business. There are 2 things I don't like about this: - The touch buttons for power, forward and reverse are in an awkward position. I've been repeatedly triggering these. - My other grip is that the wheels do not swivel; It only goes left - right. This is something I will need to address. I had wrongly assumed the wheels would swivel. I will need to change the front 2 to a swivel style.

Multipurpose shredder for a mountain of paper
Great shredder. After moving house and having a mass clear out of old paperwork I needed a new shredder as my old one was manual feed and would overheat often. This shredder, having a tray to.load at the top, munches through A4 paper in hardly any time. Having a standby mode after inactivity for a period of time just a tap of a button fires it straight back up. Highly recommend this shredder. Had a large bin to hold a mountain of shredded paper which goes strain my green garden bin once full.

Happy with purchase
Good delivery of shredder. Easy to set. The top is very heavy and could have done with handles to help. Shreds paper into very small pieces.

So far, so good
After paying varying amounts for shredders in the last few years which haven't lasted well I crossed my fingers when ordering this after reading the reviews. I've had this model for about 3 months now and so far, it has behaved and I'm pleased with it. The shredded paper produced is much smaller than my previous cross cut shredders and because of this it is rather slow at taking the paper through. The upside is that the bin doesn't need emptying quite so often. Although it says 8 sheet, I don't feed this amount through at once, just usually 4 pages max - I'd rather take longer to shred than run the risk of it jamming. I haven't shredded anything for longer than five minutes so can't comment on the apparent running time of 5 minutes. Easy to operate and easy to empty. Hopefully this will last longer than its predecessors.
