Excellent film for the kids and adults alike, DVD arrived before the stated date, in good condition, would recommend the item and seller.

Max Goof (now 18) and his friends P.J. and Bobby prepare to leave for college and to participate in the College X-Games. Goofy and Pete prepare a farewell barbecue for the boys the day before they leave. Max says to his friends that he is anxious to leave to be away from his father's overprotective attitude. P.J. gloomily comments that his father will make his room into a bowling alley as soon as he leaves. I don't want to say anymore as i will give the plot away, but it's a really good film, & will be watching it again.

It doesn't work on a Region 1 drive. Very disappointed.

I loved 1996's 'A Goofy Movie' as a kid, although maybe not a serious Walt Disney 'classic' in the great scheme of things, I still enjoy it very much even now. Four years later, a squeal film was issued straight to video, 'An Extremely Goofy Movie'. As one might expect, it doesn't hold a candle to the first one, but it's not quite as bad as some of Disney's VHS film follow-ups. Max is preparing to start a new life at college, excited at the prospect of freedom and moving away from home and father Goofy. To his initial complete embarrassment, when the overbearing dad finds himself out of a job, he has to start studying for a degree himself -- at the same college as his son. Surprisingly, the older Goof makes a positive mark there, winning the respect of other students, finding a little romance with the college librarian, even becoming a star on the winning skateboarding team. As all these wonderful things transpire, he starts acting selfish, but the usual Disney message ensures that Goofy and Max are on loving terms again at the end. This movie starts off promising, but soon plums into mediocrity, despite having enough few laughs and nice moments to make you want to stick with it. This was a clearly a money-spinner, but I do think more thought could have gone into the story to make it more interesting. The soundtrack contains several famous songs that were big hits in the Seventies, but the original tracks are forgettable, which was far from the case with the first film. Like it's predecessor, this movie really touches on the rather realistic and typical relationship between a father and son, how both sides make mistakes, annoy and embarrass each other, the latter particularly referring to Goofy, but the bond between them is strong, and there will always be unbroken love there. The ending was moving, and although Max can be something of a jerk towards Goofy, it's very clear how much he cares about him, and with a dad who lives up to his name every inch, who wouldn't cringe at his old man in public, especially if they were a teenager. So, 'An Extremely Goofy Movie' is worth a shot, it's nice to see the continuing story of Max and Goody, which is naturally appealing to the whole family who enjoyed 'A Goofy Movie'. It's good clean fun, but I can't help but think it would have been a great idea to have had Roxanne return, Max's love interest in the first film who isn't even mentioned, but the Pete cameo at the start still makes me smile.

Hey disney you've done a great job at ruining one of the best films ever. There isn't even a decent soundtrack. And the stupid arty girl that PJ falls in love with is one of the worst characters ever. And she looks like she totally gets around.

Immer wieder gut den film anzuschauen. Er ist toll und sehr lustig. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen. Sehr sehr schön.

This is a good animated movie for fans of Disney's Goofy.This is a fun movie for kids.The movie arrived new,on time & in Perfect condition.I would definitely purchase DVD'S from Amazon in the future.

Der Film ist echt klasse aber wusste ich leider nicht das filme aus der USA nicht in Deutschland oder sonstigen Ländern außerhalb der USA funktioniert da der Regionen Code nicht mit dem Code aus den USA zusammen passen.

If you like " The Goofy Movie " as a kid, you'll love the 2nd one when Max goes to College and someone else might also.
