I really wanted to love this protein (chocolate) because the ingredients are so clean, but I am beyond disappointed. For a product that costs $69, the flavor profile is completely off. It has this very strange, lingering aroma of tobacco and ash. It’s not just a bad chocolate taste; it’s a specific retro-nasal sensation that is identical to nicotine gum. Every time I take a sip, I get that metallic, ashy sting in the back of my throat that is impossible to ignore. I’ve tried everything to fix it adding extra cacao, using cashew milk, etc. milk..but that chemical/tobacco-like scent is so strong that it overpowers everything else. I have a very sensitive palate, and this honestly tastes like a dirty ashtray. 😔 It’s a huge waste of money. If you’re looking for a delicious, smooth chocolate protein, this isn't it. I’m stuck with an expensive bag that I simply cannot drink.

This product is fantastic. It tastes absolutely FANTASTIC. That doesn't really matter, but it has to be said up front bc so many reviews say it's horrible. It is GREAT tasting. I wonder what ppl are eating when they post opinions about taste -- are they living off of gummies and fast food? Do they eat 10lbs of sugar a week? It might be worth asking. But please allow me to relay a story: I was using a great collagen/peptide product that tasted good with bouillon, or water, or anything. It really took the sting out of sore muscles and joint pain. Good for skin etc etc... Then whiners posted that it didn't mix well, tasted bad, and next thing you know, voila, the product was changed. Now, yes, it did mix more easily (for the love of.....JUST USE A BATTERY WHISKER), and the taste changed, but the product no longer worked and it was very expensive. I contacted the maker and they denied the change. It was newly sandy, like it had melt-able wood or something instead of the great product it once was. So, to the makers of this product: DO NOT CHANGE A THING. If whiners cannot learn to use a whisker, that's their own fault. Your product is great. Can you expand the line? I'm still on the hunt for a great collagen peptide product.

I absolutely loved this product. I’ve been searching for an alternative to whey protein since it was causing stomach discomfort, and this has been a great solution. I love this protein powder! I normally have a sensitive stomach but this was totally fine - my stomach felt great after consuming and even better? It tastes amazing and like REAL FOOD. Love it!
