This is my second Acer chromebook and I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a basic computer for web surfing, general searches, bill paying, and emailing. Super easy to set up, plenty fast for my needs and good battery!

I initially had a problem connecting it to our wi-fi and considered returning it. However, my son got it up and running and I am very pleased with it. The connections are quick and easy. The only criticism I have at this point is that the screen doesn't have good contrast and color clarity. We will continue to try to adjust it, but quite frankly it's livable. My old Chromebook was purchased in 2017 and just gave up the ghost for good. I had no idea how tortuously it worked - especially doing anything on Yahoo - until I got this new one.

I am very happy with this laptop! Even though it has only an 11.5” inch screen, it’s very easy to look at for a long period of time. The keys are not too close together, so typing is a breeze. It was very easy to set up. Straight out of the box, you just plug in the charger and then turn on the laptop. Mine had a 96% charge on it already. The set up was so easy following the step-by-step instructions on the screen. It even synced up my bookmarks from my old laptop! It is Bluetooth enabled, which made it very easy to work from my apartment. It has a good weight and seems very sturdy. I like that it is light enough though to carry around in my backpack. It holds a charge well. It’s a very basic laptop, with not a lot of bells and whistles. But that’s all I need. I don’t do any streaming or movie watching on it. Basically I use it for social media, emails, and Amazon. So it’s exactly right for my use! I’m so happy that I got this Chromebook. My old laptop was also a Chromebook, and I never had any issues with it getting any viruses. This is the best Chromebook for the money, in my opinion. Great price on it too!

Thought my computer was defective because the arrow keys didn't seem to work. Maybe it is but I read a review that mentioned two finger scrolling so I looked that up and learned how to use two finger scrolling. Very happy now but still trying to get used to it not being a touch screen. (Two finger scrolling is when you use two fingers on the touch pad and drag them up or down. You also need to have the cursor in the area where you want to scroll which catches me off guard some times when I don't pay attention to where the cursor is.)

Terrible product, had it for two months and multiple keys stopped working at the same time. It is under warranty at least so I am able to send it in for repair but they've been crystal clear that if the shipping company damages anything that's my fault and also the repair process is going to take 3 weeks. Fairly surprised they didn't just ask for me to return the product and refund me. Never buying Acer again, absolute garbage.

The chromebook was a decent price and worked well for what it was meant for. It's on the lower end of most chromebooks so I didn't expect too much. Multiple processes is hard to work with. Battery life decent. Near the end of life it slowed down to a crawl, but 9 months was what I expected.

Exceeded my expectations. It was brand new out of the box for $100 less! No charger. But, I ordered a 65W Charger (Faster than original) for 9.99 on Amazon. Came next day. Perfect for my school needs. Modern day Chromebooks are WAY better than the 1st series books.
