Good quality and very reliable.
I always wanted to buy an electric scooter, but I donโt know which one to get. Now that I have made my choice of which one to buy here is my thoughts on this electric scooter. The quality of this scooter is very durable. Itโs very heavy and the metal bar that is connected to the handle bar is very strong. For the part where you stand on, itโs big enough for my son and I to ride together. My son and I combined are about 240 pounds or so and there is no problem for us to ride together. We got to the top speed of 11 to 12 mph together on this electric scooter. I donโt want to go too fast because there was two of us riding. When I was riding by myself, I got the scooter up to 19 mph. So this scooter is very powerful when your riding by yourself. The battery life on this scooter is very good. With one charge we can use this scooter for a few days. We used about 15 to 30 minutes each time. There is not much noise level for this scooter. The one time when you hear the noise is when you are riding it, but when itโs parked there is no noise. The motor is not very loud. I use this scooter to pickup my son from school and itโs very convenient now that I donโt need to wait in my car at the pickup line. I think itโs well worth the money.

Only 10 miles per charge. Brakes are MAJOR safety issue.
I would be very hard pressed to give this above 1 star. I cannot believe nor understand how it is possible for this to be #1 in electric scooters on Amazon due to two big flaws, one being pretty severe and causing a major safety hazard. The first problem is that after trying it for 5 days, no matter what I have tried, it will not get above 10 miles on a full charge, despite being advertised as up to 21 miles per charge. No matter how flat and smooth of surface I ride it on, the battery drains the same regardless. I could possibly forgive that since I got it purely for recreation, but the second problem is a real doozy. The brakes. They do not work based on how much pressure you apply to them. They only actuate at one point during the press, and it stops so hard and so suddenly that it almost throws you over the handle bars. It is extremely unsafe, and there is no way around it, that's just how they work. I felt completely unsafe riding this and could not enjoy it even for a second because of the brakes being this way. In fact, the brakes jerk so hard that even with just a small amount of sweat on my palms, which is easy to accumulate because you are scared to death the entire time to even be on this deathtrap of a machine and to even touch the brake handle due to how terrible they are, that I almost lost my grip over and over again, and almost had many bad wrecks in only 5 days. Amazon needs to investigate this because if the brakes are like this on every scooter, it is a major safety issue, which is why it is so bewildering to me that this could possibly be the #1 selling electric scooter on Amazon. This being my first ever Escooter, and also being "#1 in electric scooters" on here, what am I supposed to do? Roll the dice on another Escooter and just hope that the brakes actually function correctly? I'm not going through this again, I am just returning it and unfortunately forgetting any idea I had about having a Escooter for fun and recreation. Obviously, one would have to just avoid cheap junk like this and actually spend big bucks on a real product, in which I do not need it to commute so I don't need to spend a thousand dollars or more on a good one because I have a car to drive to and from work.

great scooter
Iโll start by saying, this scooter is pretty great, given the price. Build quality is superior. The suspension is awesome. It accelerates quickly. Steering Is smooth. Lights equipped are bright as heck and cover a lot of ground. The LED indicator system is great. Some negatives are that this scooter is heavy as hell. Definitely not very โportableโ and light if thatโs what youโre going for. Iโm a pretty strong dude and carrying this even 10 feet can be pretty difficult. But thatโs because they use strong materials to build this. My biggest hang up on this scooter is the inaccurate and inconsistent mileage you get. They claim that you get up to 25 miles per full charge, but thatโs in the best case scenario. Which is if you are traveling on flat surface, and using standard or eco mode and refrain from using any of the lights. Iโve rode this thing 15+ times now on longer commutes and have averaged 19 miles on a full charge. Iโve had this die on me several times around the 21 mile mark because I thought Iโd get 25 miles out of it. That was just wishful thinking. You will rarely get 25 miles out of this scooter. So just plan on traveling no more than 21 miles especially if youโre using turbo. It can be a real pain. Another gripe I have is that the scooter is inconsistent on speed. My brother has the exact same scooter and we go riding together all the time. We weigh exactly the same. And weโll be riding side by side and there are times where heโs capping at a faster speed than I am, even though weโre both in the same speed mode. Itโs annoying. I also wish there was an indicator on the scooter that told us how many miles our scooters have left. It only reads you how many youโve traveled since the startup. Which leads me to a smaller gripe. Which is that when you shut the screen off, all the data resets. So you can easily lose track of how many miles youโve rode and lead you to a short lived ride if you donโt keep track. Kind of annoying too. Other than those things I mentioned, Iโd give this scooter a solid rating. Itโs pretty fast by most standards and is built extremely well. Iโd suggest buying an external headlight and brake lights because using them can run your battery out and shorten your ride.

Distance and MPH are exaggerated but this performs very well.
I returned this originally because the performance was not good at all. I was only getting 15-17MPH max and about 12-14 miles with a full charge. Not ideal. I tried a few others and all exaggerate their numbers. I bought this again and I am not sure if it depends which actual scooter you get, but this one is far more efficient. I get to 17-19MPH and didtance about 16-18 miles which is solid for the price I am happy with this 2nd purchase and keeping for sure.

Lightweight yet powerful scooter with reliable brake
Iโve been really impressed with the Maxshot scooter. Itโs lightweight, which makes it easy to carry, but still feels powerful when riding. The brake system is responsive, giving me confidence in stop-and-go traffic. It handles both short commutes and longer rides better than I expected. Great option for both adults and kids who want a smooth, easy ride.

A great scooter for the price with minor inconveniences.
Having bought the gray and orange scooter 5 months ago, I believe this scooter has a lot of value given the price. I bought this scooter as a daily commute from off campus housing to my university. It goes very fast, often surpassing other riders. The interface is user friendly, the frame is strong, and the suspension is okay. You will feel bumps and cracks in the road but its not excessive. The foldability is quick but after time, the clip may get stuck where a little more strength is needed to unclip it. The battery life was perfect in my case. My campus is 2 miles away from housing, which the scooter at 20mph can clear in 15min. With this commute, the commute back, plus commuting at campus, the battery sits around 1 to 2 bars (out of 5), which was perfect for me. On a given day, I would say I commute about 6-8 miles between charges. My biggest issue are inclined hills. It will go slow, often around 6-8mph. For reference I am 170lbs with extra backpack weight. Overall a great scooter for the price.

Safety
I do not normally leave negative reviews, but I want to share my experience so other buyers can make an informed decision. From the beginning, this scooter had multiple problems. The brakes did not work properly, the brake lever felt loose, and the front wheel shook badly while riding. These are serious safety concerns, especially for a brand-new scooter. To make matters worse, the scooter displayed both E4 and E7 error codes, indicating multiple system faults. Instead of providing a simple resolution, I was repeatedly offered replacement parts and a partial refund. I purchased a new scooter, not a repair project. I should not have to install parts or troubleshoot a defective product. The return process was also frustrating. I experienced problems with the return shipping label, making it difficult to send the scooter back. I appreciate that the seller responded to my messages, but I do not believe replacement parts are an appropriate solution for a brand-new scooter with multiple safety and mechanical issues. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. I hope the company improves its quality control and customer service so future customers do not have to go through what I experienced. Pros: * The scooter has a nice appearance. Cons: * Brakes did not work properly. * Loose brake lever. * Front wheel shook while riding. * Displayed E4 and E7 error codes. * Offered parts instead of a proper resolution. * Difficult return experience. I cannot recommend this scooter based on my experience because I do not feel it was safe to ride.
