This is a great little fridge and I see no reason why you can not fix it in your garage. **Q: noise level of the fridge?** A: None that we have really noticed as stands beside big upright freezer there is some noise but not sure which one it comes from. Although think all things electrical like this do make some noise. Bith in separate kitchen so not a problem for us. About the fridge I actually like it, i was able to fit in my veggies, beverages and other items, the best part is that it got chilled minutes within me turning it on so items meant for freezing didn’t defrost at all in the midst of me transferring them from my bigger fridge to this one. I expected the lightbulb to be a little bit brighter but it’s not really an issue, I can clearly see. The item arrived well packaged, nothing broken or dented and oh there’s the option to register the fridge for a 2 year guarantee which I will take. I give this a 5 star rating.
