This is a convenient and easy to use balm. I was a bit concerned that it would be too soft for a twist-up stick and would be prone to melting but it is actually fine, at least so far (I'm not sure how well it will hold up when summer gets here, though). It is neither too hard nor too soft and it goes on easily and evenly right where I want it and it helps relieve dryness right away. It softens on contact with skin, enough so I am not dragging the stick across my face, but not so soft that it gets messy. It doesn't leave my face looking or feeling oily or sticky. The 10 gram/0.35 ounce weight sounds like a ridiculously tiny amount, but it really is a decent amount -- kind of like a giant chapstick. I think the balm will last quite a while as I just need a single swipe across my forehead, and two short dabs on each side of my face. It is great to toss in my bag or in the pocket of a cardigan when I am out for my long daily walks. I normally need to reapply moisturizer in the afternoon, and if I am out and about, this takes care of that easily and discreetly. I do not put it in my jeans or shirt pocket though, just in case it starts to melt from body heat. The product has a nice scent, but it doesn't last. The container is light-weight plastic and looks like a giant chapstick tube with cap and it arrived boxed and properly sealed. The product description lists the oils contained in the balm and also mentions hydrolyzed collagen and collagen extract + Astaxanthin (a carotenoid )and Anemarrhena asphodeloides (an evergreen plant) root extract but doesn't give a complete list of ingredients. I like using the balm, but I do think the current cost of $26.40 is a bit too high and I would be unlikely to purchase at this price..

I love this product, though I expected more moisture from this stick. This ampoule can be an advantage - no greasy feel, coming off onto my mask. I like to use it over my foundation to minimize wrinkles under my undereye area, above the apples of my cheeks. Products like this often moisturize so well that on some days, I use only that and maybe a bit of concealer under my eye. This technique gives me a lazy-day bare-face look. This product might last a while due to the non-stick qualities; in other words, I do not see this product getting used up too fast because it might have been too greasy, and I would want to use it sparingly. I hope I am being helpful. I love that there is no need to use your fingers to apply. Applying isn't going to be a wet application; if I were to use this after cleansing or post-serum, I would get the even layers, not a mish-mash, everything staying on a separate layer. Otherwise, it is essential, in my view, to drey all layers before the next step—just good practice. Washing off is easy with water and perhaps the mild cleanser I would use for my aging skin. I am 67 years old and love the extra layers, some moisturizer, or this one in strategic places toward the end of my routine. This stick ampoule with Collagen is a worthwhile product. Different from others, easy to pack for a trip or in your purse every day. This product is excellent for gifts, along with other products put out by this manufacturer and sold by SCINIC. I have a superb collagen eye cream by SCINIC that I love. It comes in a generous amount, large jar. Lovely feel, also mild scent if at all. Great value! Enjoy!

The SCINIC Collagen Ampoule Stick is an interesting concept. But let's be real, this is an oil stick more than anything. The addition of collagen is simply to help boost the hydration retention in the skin, but that's all. Collagen in skincare is not going to supplement the natural protein lost in your skin. That aside, the product is of good quality for the targeted treatment of dry skin. I like using it around my lips and eyes, especially during the cooler months, at night, after I've applied my moisturizer to further seal everything in. Yes, this is occlusive, but won't cause breakouts. The amalgamation of oils with humectants and other moisturizing additives like shea butter is lovely, but I could do without the waxes. I'm pleased they didn't add potentially irritating essential oils (think lemongrass, bergamot, or thyme extracts). Instead, this stick is suitable for all skin types including sensitive and rosacea-prone (which I have). No flares or irritation thus far. This SCINIC Collagen Ampoule Stick 0.35fl.oz is easy and convenient to use as it is a stick. It contains collagen plus sunflower seed oil, camelia sinensis seed oil, argania spinosa kernel oil, macadamia Iintegrifolia seed oil, camellia japonica seed oil, jojoba seed oil, olive fruit oil, astaxanthin and anemarrhena Aasphodeloides root extract. I do worry that this will melt in the summer heat but we will find out in the months ahead. It goes on and absorbs well, doesn't leave my face feeling sticky. Right now it's in my pocketbook for out and about use if my face starts feeling dry. The stick rolls up well and the product applies easily. It hasn't caused me any skin irritation or redness so far.
