Color Oops Extra Conditioning Hair Color Remover, 2 Pack, Hair Dye Remover Processes in 20 Minutes, Safely Removes Permanent & Semi-Permanent Dye, Ammonia & Bleach Free

Going to post before coloring after coloring and then after color oops. The reviews were mixed but I took a chance. Firstly, the smell was a bit smelly, but no smellier than a perm, so I used a wax melter and couldn’t even smell it in my room after, day 2 and my room and hair smells good as new. I had no itchiness or pain or tingling on my head or areas it touched. I applied and left it in for 20 minutes as advised, used the gloves, it came out nice and even though my hair had lightened kind of patchy after black box dye. I was previously platinum, dyed it black box dye, and am now at a kind of natural copper color. I’m pleased. I have medium length (below the shoulders) hair, and it’s quite thick so I used two boxes and it was a perfect amount, I left it on for 20 minutes after it was fully saturated. I rinsed and shampood for 20 minutes as advised then took a shower shortly after and shampood again then conditioned. After that I was very pleased with the results and would use again opposed to bleaching.

Don’t get doesn’t work your hair will smell like egg for 2-3 days

It’s a good hair color removal. However, you have consider the hair box dye that you have in your hair. For example I dyed my hair the darkest blast 2 years ago and I have been dying every 6 months. I wanted to go back to brown, and because I have long hair I bought 3 boxes and it did lighten my hair but not by much, in the end I still had to end up bleaching my hair to get rid of all the black. The reason I say it depends on the hair dye you’re trying to remove is because there are hair dyes that are easy to remove and then there are others that are not (black box hair dye is one of them). But this removal did help me in the end because it did take some of the black out and lightened it, so instead of fully bleaching my hair I just did a bleach and it lightened my hair much more without it affecting my hair. The only thing that I would say is that, the smell is HORRIBLE! XD it’s so bad I was gagging the whole time, and the only reason it left my hair was because I did the bleach bath, if not my hair would have smelled like that for days. so try it at your own risk.

I guess they fixed the bad smell. Follow the instructions, add some heat for efficiency. Great product.
