When I read The Window Sash Bible, author Steve Jordan recommended this brand and I'm happy I took his advice. The difference is like night and day. This is easier to work and allows me to get a professional result with less effort and time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use, works much better than dap *by D***A on September 22, 2022* I've always hated trying to glaze, never could quite do a decent job. The dap product is hard to work with. The sarco glazing compounds are much thinner and easier to work with. So happy I found this because I've had to glaze dozens of windows!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best Glazing Compound on the Market *by M***Z on October 31, 2017* This is absolutely the best glazing product on the market. I had a rather big glazing job - 160ea 8in x 11in windows that needed re-glazing. I used an electric heat gun to remove all the old glazing, then using a good primer - Zxxx123 to prime the window moultons (i.e. crosses), I used Dual Glaze to glaze each window. It works great and very workable. After about 10 days, a "skin" formed. I then used a rag dipped in paint thinner to remove the haze near the glazing strip on each window. I then applied a coat of primer and two coats of exterior paint. Glazing is a "labor of love" and requires patience! However, I am quite pleased with the results of my extensive labor. Unfortunately even though I purchase a gallon, I ran short of two windows. I went to the local hardware store to purchase a small jar of the competitors glazing compound - DAxx33. The big box store brand does not even hold a candle to Sarco.
