I had hip surgery 2 days ago. I am in absolute agony. But one thing is for certain, if I hadn't bought this I would NOT be able to get into bed. This is a must have. It has several handles on it to give you the right length to hold your leg straight. It is strong and flexible which is awesome. I feel safe and confident using it. This is a necessity in your post surgery hip kit. Just slide your foot into the loop and grab the handle, whichever one feels good to you, and bring your leg up where you need it. It doesn't put any pressure on it and keeps it straight. Amazingly simple. I'm 5ft10 and purchased the longest one. It's perfect.

This item is for my wife she needs a hip replacement. This helps with lifting her leg when I am not available. Was suggested on you tube video. It def helps as needed. It is bendable and straight (rigid) as required for lifting. I was unsure how it would be due to past reviews but it does work for what it is intended Im not sure what other people did with it, It helps with getting in bed from a seated position as well as to get backwards farther in recliner. It is a good weight not heavy or awkward . Can be bended to put on walker handle to have withing arms reach. I cant believe it was under $10 The straps are comfortable and hands dont slip off when using. we thought the strap might have been too long as she is only 5'4 but it is a good size bc depending on what it is needed for ( moving from a sitting to up on bed, or from laying to up more in bed ) she can used the multiple Straps(handles ) as needed to get a better grip. Only wish would have known how helped it would have been before now.

Bought this for ‘stretching’ my IT band, but later used it after knee replacement surgery. It’s well made, comfortable to use, love that it has the internal strip that keeps it straight (or bent if you want) so you don’t have to fling it like spaghetti trying to get your foot in the loop (which also has it to stay open). Quality materials throughout.

After my hip surgery I needed a leg lifter. The one in the rehab center was well used. So I looked on AMAZON AND FOR $10 I got a colorful device with many handles and a wide foot loop for my Wide-wide foot. It is sturdy and should last til my next surgery. And it came in different lengths for different heights.

I had a hip abductor muscle surgery last month. This Leg Lifter was one of the best devices that I purchased. I used it to lift my leg up in order to get in the vehicle after leaving the surgery center, again every time that I had to get in the car for my doctors appointments, several times a day to get in bed, and I still use it one month later for my Physical Therapy exercises. I highly recommend it. Considering the low price, it will provide you with the greatest benefit.

A great tool for after a hip or knee replacement surgery! This one tool has been a lifesaver to have. I have a regular PT strap for exercise, which works great for exercise in general. But this one is ideal post-surgery. There are 3 looped straps set in increments coming from the main strap which gives you options where to place your hand for the best lift. The most important feature to me is the wide, padded foot stirrup which stays open while you insert your foot into it. No fumbling to get your foot into it. It’s a game-changer compared to the regular PT strap, where you have to manually open the stirrup each time. (Which is impossible since you can’t bend over to grasp it with your hands following hip replacement surgery.) I leave it on my foot when I’m sitting in my recliner so I can have it ready to assist any time I need to lift my foot, including for exercise. I had no idea which length to purchase, but the one I settled on (39”) works perfect. I’m 5’6” tall. The other feature I like is the thin aluminum piece inside the nylon webbing. It’s bendable, yet sturdy. It easily folds up and comes with a nylon pouch to keep it in, so I can easily carry anywhere. I plan to order a 2nd one to keep in the car.

This leg lifter is God quality & offers padding for feel & hands when you use it. It must be packaged up, thus it folds & unfolds in three pieces. I am recovering from a broken femur and find this to be useful!

This is a MUST-HAVE post hip surgery to help move my leg. I didn't even realize until it arrived that it has a wonderful ridged spine. I was just focused on the dedicated foot pad that made so much sense -- instead of trying to lasso a loop at the end of your foot. With the rigid strap I can just place it gently where I need it to go without throwing a strap to where I need it to land. The neoprene soft handle covers - this was also thought out well - make it very slip resistant and soft to hold on to.

Just had knee replacement 2 weeks ago. This lifter is handy to get the operated leg into bed. It’s good that there is a metal inside the lifter as it makes it more sturdy. Wish I would’ve had this lifter when I had my other knee done. Would recommend.

Ordered for mother after Knee replacement. Worked a treat found really useful in getting in and out of bed. Also when lifting leg to rest on foot stool. She tells me great product.

This is exactly what I need to help me lift my leg in and out of the car and bed after knee surgery. It offers great value for money and the quality is satisfactory. Additionally, it is flexible enough to roll up and fit into a bag, making it even more convenient. My previous leg lifter was stiffer, this one is just as effective and far more practical thanks to its foldable design. Overall, it’s a very useful tool for recovery.

Absolutely essential if you are recovering from knee surgery, I could not have coped without this. It folds up so you can put it in a bag and it is sturdy and works every time. Good quality and great product!
