I wanted a 2-minute timer to help me brush my teeth proper. Yep, this works just fine. No beeps, which is great as I don't want my whole life to be digital. Good value for the money, durable, and wow this is cute. Timer quality is good. I have this Hourglass sitting on my bathroom counter and the style just fits in well with my decor. Doesn't look out of place at all. Works for me. I recommend.

I purchased this timer as a Christmas gift for my mom, who needed it for timing her physical therapy exercises. I did several trial runs with a digital timer to test its accuracy and while it wasn't spot on, it was close enough (27 seconds, 28 seconds, etc). She has been pleased with it.

Sturdy, droppable, accurate to a second or 2, inexpensive, not unattractive.

We use it for our toddler for time out. The 3-minute long one. Works great for us. Unfortunately I saw it stuck a couple of times but I make sure I tap on the top here and there so we don’t keep our kiddo in his playpen longer than we agreed.

Make sure you check the size before purchasing the same time, the pictures make it look a lot bigger than it is. However, this is the perfect size I needed for my classroom. Although the timer is made of glass in some areas, the wooden structure around it has kept the glass part from cracking or breaking. Consistently marks three minutes, and is very useful in the classroom as an alternate to loud destructive timers for kids who just need a second to take a break.
