BARTON Elite NATO® Style Watch Strap - Seat Belt Nylon Watch Bands

High quality, comfortable, durable. Ordered the all black 22mm version and it's holding up perfectly well after over two years of daily wear. I leave it on for all sorts of work, play, manual labor, digging in the dirt, and it honestly looks good as new. No frays, still black. Have machine washed it in with clothes laundry when a few times a year to salty sweat and grime. I like it so much I just ordered the 24mm camo version for a different watch, and it's perfect. This is made of seatbelt strap material so super durable, and being true NATO style, it's super quick and easy to remove from the watch case whenever you want, without needing a springbar tool. Will probably stick with Barton straps from now on. Much more durable than any type of solid plastic or silicone I've had... these Barton nato straps outlast the plastic/rubber strap on Casio G Shock GWM5000 series (which brittle and crack with time), and also outlast the silicone strap that came with my automatic diver (both silicone keepers eventually developed tears and came off). 10/10 recommended

I think the Barton Jetson Nato (black & gray Bond) band is very unique and the most stylish band that I have. It matches nicely with my Seiko SKX007 too. Even compared to expensive $100 metal bands, I think the Nato bands have a more wow factor especially because they are rarely seen compared to metal and leather bands. I am a big fan of Nato style. At first, I wasn't quite happy with the 2 band layers behind the case which pushes the watch out from the wrist further but it grew on me and that is what makes it unique. The same goes for the unique folding loop. It makes the band very unique and that is always good. Comfort? It is comfortable and fits nicely but it can't match the comfort of the Barton Elite Silicone or Barton Canvas band. Also at first, the Jetson band will feel kind of hard. It is thicker than normal nylon bands so it needs to be broken in. Wear it more and keep the band locked up in circle shape when not being worn for a few days. Also do waves and bend it around in various directions for a few minutes. It will break in much faster. Quality and durability? The band is solid quality and very durable. It is thicker which means more durable than normal nylon bands which its holes would wear out easier over time. Don't wear it too tight where the pressure is on the holes. I give this band a 4.75 stars out of 5.

This is a well made, NATO style watch strap that’s made from high quality materials. I’ve worn many NATO’s over the years and while I can’t say that this is the best one I’ve ever had, I can say that it’s a very good one and that I’m very pleased with it. The nylon material that the strap is made from is thicker and feels more substantial than many of the NATO’s you’ll find. I’ll add that this is a very good looking strap and that I to get expect long service from it. The strap looks great on a Diver style watch and it’s quite comfortable to wear. If I have any criticism, it’s that the strap is not as long as some other NATO’s. I have worn. Other than that it being a tad shorter than it should be, this is a great watch strap and I’d happily buy another.

I purchased this for my G Shock 5600, and am using jays and kays solid aluminum NATO adapter. The stock Casio band does not even come close to latching on my 8.5" wrist, so it looked as if the NATO deal would be the solution. The first purchase I made was a 22mm premium Craig Bond NATO from Crown and Buckle, and is a sweet band, with the exception of the height of the metal keeper loops. I am NOT one of these goofballs with a 6.5" wrist that likes mega sized watches and triple stacking my watch band because it is 3 inches too long, so I wanted to try at least one offering with the "RAF", or original bond type fabric loop strap keeper. After exhaustively looking at different companies, what they had to offer and what people said about them, I decided to pull the trigger on the 22mm Classic Bond black hardware Jetson Barton band. That they are on the other side of town from me is pure coincidence, but I also considered a bonus to get a good product locally sourced. Upon opening, I was looking for frays or any quality control issues others have mentioned. NONE were found and I instantly loved looks of the design and quality of it. To me, it is a bit heavier , but such a luxurious strap with a nice sheen to it. Next is to see how it fits the little 5600, fits fine, and the one metal strap buckle is what I feel is appropriately sized for two straps to fit through, without the loop being too high. I laid it next to the Crown and Buckle NATO to see how they visually compare. The Barton buckle is substantially more robust and the band is slightly shorter, which pretty much puts the excess band right inside the fabric keeper, at the perfect length. As for the height of the fabric keeper, it is unrealistic for the same fabric to wrapped tight enough to be as low profile as some would like, but as I like a smooth profile of EVERYTHING, IMO, the keeper strap is reaasonable. The ONE nitpick I have is I would like the slack space for the watch head to be smaller and biased more toward the middle of the band, but also having some mega headed dive watches, I know this is for those type of watches, otherwise, those watch heads just would not fit in there. That said, they did not market this as a Huge Wristed wears a little G Shock watch band. I am OK with that, because this band rocks, and I will buy more Bartons. I may have to buy a twin to this band, because it is SO NICE, it's kind of like a nice dress watch band to me. I hope this has helped you and enjoy.

This is a quality strap, however, the sizing wasn’t quite what I thought it would be. First off, the section that loops through the watch wasn’t the best fit on my Seiko SNKM97. I had to position the watch high up near the buckle, which in turn, made for an awkard, uneven resting position on my wrist. There simply wasn’t enough slack for me to position the watch center. So if you’re watch has a big casing, this might not be the best strap choice. Second, it barely fit my wrist! I’ve had straps from other brands that are the same dimension, and fit better. I know sizing can vary slightly from brand to brand, but it was disappointing to only be able to tighten to the first or second notch. Without the little bit of slack at the end, the band barely threaded through the loop, which in turn, made it look like there was some weird bubble; a piece of unnecessary nylon. Other than my nitpicks, this is still a high quality strap, and I would recommend it for watches without thick casings, and for people with normal sized wrists. Fat wrists beware.

I was a bit surprised when I opened the package with this Barton strap inside. I ordered this the Jetson style over the ballistic style because I was looking for added durability, and I was not disappointed. I was surprised because the strap appears to be twice as durable as the ballistic style NATO straps that I use. I was worried the strap would be too stiff, but after a few weeks of wearing it, it broke in and outperforms similar products. Another detail that didn’t jump out to me in provided photos is that the watch strap has a sheen to it. When the light hits it, there is a slight reflection that makes it almost shiny. While I wasn’t expecting this, it works for the watch that I pair it with, so I’m happy, but you should know that before you decide on this color. The color is a beautiful dark blue that pairs perfectly with my dive watches. Other reviews mention the Jetson style strap feeling like a car seat belt. This is accurate. It feels nearly as thick as well. Since I have large wrists, it works well for me. With the added durability comes the extra thickness and stiffness. This means that your watch will sit higher off your arm than with other thinner straps. I have included pictures to illustrate this point. Again, this isn’t a negative, just how this type of strap operates. I find the Barton Jetson NATO watch strap comfortable to wear not only for days in a row, but overnight as well. I choose NATO straps for my watches because they stand up to abuse. They don’t cut or tear easily, they can be subjected to sand, mud, rocks, water, blood, basically anything you can throw at it, and will rinse clean. For a deep clean, take the band off your watch, loop it through a belt loop on a pair of pants, and run it through your clothes washing machine. (Hang it up to dry) It doesn’t get easier than that. This watch band is good enough to stand by you wherever life’s adventures may take you.

Really like this watch band! I have a small wrist and it fits me well as I can tuck the excess back under the keeper.It is very comfortable and not stiff or scratchy. The blue color of the band really makes the blue face on my watch pop. Very happy with my purchase!

Il cinturino è indubbiamente di qualità, il colore verde militare è molto bello, tuttavia montato sul mio Longines BigEye lo rende troppo grosso in quanto la cinghia è leggermente più spessa rispetto ad altri prodotti ed il doppio passaggio sotto il fondello lo alza troppo per i miei gusti. Anche il passaggio tra la cassa e le springbars è stato difficoltoso.

Eigentlich trage ich meine Armbanduhren lieber an einem Lederband. Für einen Urlaub am Strand mit Sand und Salzwasser sind die natürlich weniger geeignet. Deswegen habe ich es für meine "Stranduhr" mit diesem Nylonband versucht. Und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich top, und mit Schere und Feuerzeug ließ es sich problemlos kürzen. Das gekürzte Ende ist dabei sauber verschmolzen und dürfte sich nicht wieder aufdröseln. Der große Vorteil des Bandes: Wenn es verschmutzt oder durchgeschwitzt ist, lässt es sich mit wenigen Handgriffen von der Uhr lösen und unter fließendem warmem Wasser leicht reinigen. Dazu kommt, dass es sich sehr angenehm tragen lässt, ohne auf der Haut zu kratzen. Bei Bedarf würde ich es mir jederzeit wieder kaufen.
