Best for 2nd Sim in phone, it's hard to find a portable wifi that works.
I can't really tell you about the quality of this card because the portable wifi was crap that didn't work.

Easy to use, just insert and go
This SIM is an easy way to get data when you need it in the USA. We ordered one when a friend visited from abroad, we were able to just slip this into her phone and after a short sign up, it was working with no problem. 5GB is plenty if you use it only for what you need and minimize watching videos to only when you are on wifi.

mobile hotspot not working
Bought this card for my college student daughter to use as a mobile hotspot in her apartment since the WiFi speed there is not stable. When inserted into her phone the mobile hotspot function does not work but popped up a customer phone number to request me to call. After calling the number the service person told me they are in Malaysia and does not handle issues happened in US. He did not provide me a US customer service number to call. I returned the card through Amazon since the expected function does not work and there is no customer service to help me fix the problem. Later my phone service company charged me about $50 for this Malaysia customer service call. Not a pleasant service.

Nice flexible option.
Review for TalkSIM Data-only prepaid SIM card. In my dream world, my cellular service would provide 100% coverage everywhere I go. Alas, still a dream. When traveling outside of my usual predictable area, it's nice to have a backup. TalkSIM, with no need to set up a permanent account, and up to a year for initial activation, seems like a reasonable deal for emergency backup. It did connect on AT&T when my usual T-Mobile device had no coverage.

Excellent, Good Value, No Issues, Easy Setup
I use these for security cameras and trail cameras around my properties, and have used lots of different brands in the past. This TALKSIM data sim card had a very easy setup and comes with all the instructions to get you setup pretty quickly. The SIM card itself is adjustable to Micro/Macro sizes, you just need to snap off the plastic areas that you don't need if you are changing it down to Mico size. I usually have great signal where I am as it is a 5G/4G LTE area, so I can't say how well it would work at other locations, but for me I had no breaks in connection and the speeds were good. Nothing special like 60fps motion, but it's more than enough bandwidth to give you a clear picture of your security camera. 5 Stars, would definitely get again!

Doesn't tap into Verizon
They make it clear, so they are promoting it correctly. However, if you are in remote locations, like Montana (I was visiting Yellowstone), a Verizon based SIM would be much better, but also costs more. Another person in my group had Verizon and had data and texts every so often, but AT&T and T-Mobile were only available in the various towns. Aside from being in a crazy remote area, this SIM works well. I'm very happy with it. I'm not sure if it means anything, but at times, my phone showed LTE and also 5G. But mostly, it shows 4G. Speeds were plenty for my family's needs. My phone also automatically setup the APN, so it just "worked". It also worked in my unlocked ZTE Falcon hotspot. I just had to manually configure it, but it was also great in that.

Seemingly random performance swings, may be due to switching networks/roaming.
This says it’s an AT&T and T-Mobile SIM. I’m going to guess it opportunistically routes based on what rates the carrier gets for data. In any case, this SIM provided pretty inconsistent performance in my iPad. It worked, but I get the feeling it was either roaming between carriers, or the proxy they route everything through was congested. It’s alright, at best.
