This kit includes everything my little heart could desire. I originally purchased this kit in hopes of repairing a pair of leather snake print embossed booties. I was told this is an impossible feat, which I was inclined to believe after running out of options. I thought to myself, why not try a floor repair kit. The wax turns into a matte shine smooth surface with practice. I could use as much or as little as needed and had many options when it came to coloring. Though it’s not perfect, it certainly looks ten times better than the before pictures. In fact, from a distance you wouldn’t even recognize the repair. This wonderful kit helped to rejuvenate my $295 booties that are no longer made. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Now I’m going all around my house making repairs on a scratches, nicks, or gouges I may find. It dries & hardens similar to plastic. I was able to mix to wax colors in order to achieve the color way. I then went back and used the markers in specific areas as a finishing touch. I’ve worn the booties outside 3 times now and still they look the same. I’m ecstatic to have finally found a way to repair embossed leather snake skin.

I’ve gotta give this repair kit 5 stars for the price, ease of use, and flexibility. I was honestly surprised by how well it blended and covered. This was my second time using it, and it worked great again.

I rent an apartment in a rather large complex and the flooring throughout the kitchen and living room, and in the bathroom is a spongy type of laminate, I had some friends over for a small housewarming get together, and I didn’t know that a couple of my friends were smoking pot and lighting incense sticks. Well, when people drink and then get high, they do stupid things like burn the floor with their joint or incense stick. The next day when I saw the damage I was mortified I thought for sure this is gonna make me lose my entire deposit. This kit provided everything I needed to be able to fix the burn areas, but this is no simple task. You have to be somewhat coordinated and have a good eye for color to match the texture the marbling effect of the flooring. It took a little practice, but after a few hours over a couple of days, I kind of learned the technique once I got the hang of it. It wasn’t too bad. A few weeks later a friend of mine came by and used the bathroom and I said look at the floor and tell me how you think it is and just indicated that there had been some maintenance to the floor and I wanted them to critique and let me know if they could tell what was done. One of my friends says “it looks like you lightened the color of the floor a little”, but that was the wrong answer. I didn’t lighten the floor . I was easily able to see the areas, but it’s because I knew exactly where they were, but to an untrained eye, it blends right in. The kit uses a type of very firm wax that you basically melt and then blend with different colors until you get the right shade. when I got to the point where I was pretty close I was using a small torch to very quickly and lightly heat up a small spot and then use my finger to blend the colors which actually worked out pretty good several of my friends that said they can’t even tell but every time I walk in the bathroom I can see exactly where the repairs were. I waited a few days and then attacked it again and fine tuned my artwork. I’m much happier with the outcome and now when I walk in the bathroom, it is difficult even for me to see where the repairs were done. All I can say is be patient work slowly read a lot of other reviews and maybe watch some videos on YouTube. I would imagine that there are people that would find this difficult and others that would find it easy. If you’re not so artistically inclined, maybe you would want to have somebody else do it for you or higher professional. I was definitely frustrated. That’s why I took a couple of days off did some research and when I attacked it again, it actually worked out a lot better. Just be patient with yourself. Be creative and do the best you can. If it doesn’t work out then you go to Plan B? Whatever that means.

Okay. So I made a mess. My laminate floor had 6 inch square places where the laminate was warped and was coming up. I cut out the places thinking I could get replacement boards from Home Depot. Aaaand, they stopped carrying it. I thought I could glue the top layer back on and fill the spaces with this product. Much gnashing of teeth and howling ensued. Maybe the bad luck planets slid into retrograde or the gods that be decided that they needed a good laugh. Either way, I laughed back by buying a carpet. Using the melty tool was really slow and my ADHD nearly convinced my logical mind to pull out a gas torch. Luckily I got wise to the laughing gods before my ADHD burned down the house. That all being said, the colors were excellent and I could match the floor. This kit was awesome for small dings and scratches in my furniture. I just wouldn't use it for anything bigger than a quarter.

Tengo piso laminado en mi hogar por mas de 5 años y ya se notan las marcas de los golpes, sin embargo el del piso en general aún se conserva, con este kit he reparado los agujeros de mayor tamaño y he adaptado el color mezclando los diferentes opciones que tiene el kit, el secado es rápido y lo mas importante a parte de cubrir y disimular la aplicación permanece en el tiempo no se cae, se adhiere bastante bien

I, like a fool, let my kids ride their toys inside and got 3 holes in my new flooring from them drifting in the house. Luckily this kit actually made it easy to fill the exposed insides of the floor. If you look closely you can see its wax since I know where it’s at, but to anyone else they wouldn’t be able to tell at all. The package comes with everything you need, including batteries. It was easy to melt the wax and fill in the gaps. If the color was a little off I mixed 2 wax colors and even used the markers to make the same lines. Great investment for life to keep your floors looking good and not exposed.
