Reissue in vinyl format of 180 grams of titles from Rory Gallagher's discography. Review: Another winner. 2012 version. - Rory Gallaghers work sort of exists just under the radar, so to speak. It is always there and loved with a passion by his fans, yet rarely seen mentioned in print these days unless someone is listing of their influences, or favourite guitar players. This new from the analogue masters reissue series ought to delight the hard core fans as they address and correct some issues, too much reverb, new mixes, new stereo placings that were made during the previous conversion to cd. Donal has got the team to go back to the final Rory mixes and freshly digitise them using the latest equipment in order to produce what could be described as the best sounding cd versions of Rorys small but incredibly potent back catalogue. The new issues also come in a neat cardboard foldover sleeve along with new sleevenotes Anyone who is fan of the guitar gets a real feast of then here, acoustic, slide, electric......all played by a master musician. Superb. Review: Another excellent sounding 2012 remaster - Another excellent sounding 2012 remaster. This is also another great Rory album that can be enjoyed by any rock fan. I love all Rory's work , his keen sense of rythym and classic straight ahead riffs are superb. One of the greatest rock and blues guitar players of all time.

2018 Release of 2017 CD Remaster From Original 1/4 Master Tape - The Definitive Version At Last.
24 bit High Resolution re-mastering from the original 1/4 master tape by Andy Pearce & Matt Wortham at Wired Masters in 2017. All of the 2018 CD studio remasters released by UMC contain updated sleeve insert photos and track comments. There is no remix meddling this time; these are as the original releases. All have bonus track(s) except Deuce. Excellent sound quality throughout and the content needs no further comment other than it is Rory Gallagher doing what only he and his co-musicians could; a unique sound and a massive influence on many players that have followed.

Good honest no nonsense "Take no prisoners" guitar set to stun album.
A mid '70's Rory album with the usual high octane gut wrenchers, as well as the sublime acoustically played Leadbelly classic; "Out on the Western Plain". If you already like Rory then this will not disappoint, if on the other hand you are looking for a starring point, then I would personally recommend "Top Priority" or "Photo Finish".

A must have on vinyl.
Stunning reissue on vinyl, slight warp but playable. No decent inner sleeve either which is sacrilege to the great man's music, the music speaks for itself of course, a gifted musician who could actually play. I'm very pleased overall with the audio on the vinyl.
