It came in the original package. It looked like maybe a return item as everything was sealed. Installation was very easy. Product works well. I do not like the way that it fits my toilet as the seat sits too far forward, exposing the top of the bowl. I do have a 10 inch rough in which may be the reason for this. I also like the pressure I get with my other bidet, but it is sufficient to do the job. I recently noticed that the plastic seat had become cracked and chipped, so I went to support and sent them a copy of my invoice dated 9 months previously. I also included a picture of the serial number and manufacturing date (2020) and of the damage. Within one day, I had a response, a message that a new seat had been shipped and one with a installation manual for the replacement. This seat is 5 years old and they did not have any issues fixing it. Excellent product support.
