Good quality at a good price (Works on both USB and XLR)
I bought this as it has both XLR and USB output. On USB mode it works as a podcast mic. The quality seems good with a cardioid pickup. With the USB plugged in you get the fancy lights on the back and controlling them is easy with the button. I was pleased to find that the mic will work on XLR mode with out any additional power. So if you dont want the fancy lights, you can simply unplug the USB and it will still work as a mic level input into a mixer. No phantom power is needed for the mic, and still the same quality. This for me is fantastic as it allows me to plug it into a DJ mixer for streaming without the need for any outboard processing.

Best investment for online gaming
Awesome quality and sound, though the product says you can't connect to xbox u certainly can, you just need to buy additional kit... overall gone are tge days of cheap gaming headphones with nasty mics... this paired with a boom arm and you're golden

Very good if you don’t move or want to be seen.
This microphone from Tonor can’t be faulted for sound quality, or its ability to restrict background noise. It’s solid, quite heavy, well made and works very well for this type of microphone. And at £69.99 is good value. However, I think the range of applications that Tonor suggest this mic could be used for is unrealistic. The listing says that the ideal speaking distance is 2” - 4”. Fine if being used to record a blog, but if recording a vlog, all the viewer will see is a chunky microphone with a bit of the vloggers face peering out from above it. The focus will be the microphone not the vlogger. This isn’t too bad, the real problem will come with gaming. Gamers get excited, gamers sit back in their seats to concentrate. The point I’m trying to make is that gamers won’t sit for hours with their lips 3” from a microphone. This is why gamers tend to use headphones, it gives them freedom of movement. This Tonor microphone is ideal for any application that doesn’t involve video or free movement.
