Easy to fit, comfy, seem decent quality
Bought these, along with a Soulwit headband for my Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones. My original headband pu material totally disintegrated, and the pu on the ear pads was heading badly cracked and about to disintegrate too. My headphones are around 10 years old but still sound great. I didn’t want to spend the money on a new set, so opted to try these replacements. They are pretty close to the original shape, and were very easy to fit, with no tools required. The elastic edges slotted nicely into the groove to position them perfectly on the headphones. Obviously, compared to my 10 year old original pads, these ones feel a little bit more padded, but not excessively so, so they’re likely to be pretty close to the dimensions of a genuine set of Audio-Technica replacements. Can’t comment on the durability, having only just fitted them, but at this price it’s worth a go, to get a few more years out of my headphones. If your MTH-50x pads are showing their age I’d certainly recommend giving these a go, if you don’t want to shell out on a brand new set of headphones

Good replacement, tight fit and last well
Figured I would write a review of these after purchasing a second set and using the first set for about a year now.The ear pads have held up well and withstood the abuse of a 10-12 hour daily usage, there used for both working and gaming at home and they still look like they did when the pads first arrived however they have become softer with use and feel more like the original padding now.I've seen a few people say it changes the sound quality but I can't say I have noticed a difference at all, I'm using these on a pair of M50x's (my dailys) and a pair of M40x's (my original in the office pair, now used when travelling for work), both use a Fiio E10k DAC.In terms of fitting the pads it's simple enough but can be abit of a faff getting them mounted, the best advice I can give here is get the pad mounted on the bottom ridge and while holding that in place with your fingers push up with the palm of the same hand there quite stretchy when forced, now with the other hand use a small thin blunt item to get the remainder of the lip over the main driver casing and into the lip, I used a microscophic philips screwdriver (the sort you would use on a phones internals).

Replacement ear pads for ath m40x headphones
Cheaper than audio technica own parts, looking @ them not much difference though won’t get sound quality from only ear pads, isolation good, temperature- ears still get hot quickly (-about 1/2 hr to 1 hr) a bit fiddly to fit but when on just as good as originals

Super easy to fit, very malleable.
I can't really complain about the fitment of these pads. After initial instalment the pads were all uniform - looked a bit fake to start with, now they have settled in (< 24 hours of use) , the retaining band (the bit that goes in the slot) has returned to the original dimension, pulling the padded section closer to the plate / baffle, and as a result the padded part now has that wrinkled effect from PU types of pads you get around the edge, I like that, some might not, but it's mainly aesthetic.Sound, I gave 5 stars. Blah blah not OG pads, BUT, I was using a pair of m40x prior, and they "feel" the same as the pads on those (when new), and the extended bass of the m50x does come through with these pads, as does the rest of the audio spectrum. Stereo separation is great, there's no leak. I mention this as I wear glasses and some headphones pads tend not to conform around the arms of my glasses, and this can lead to underperformance when it comes to closed back headphones. Which leads me conveniently onto;Comfort. I wear headphones pretty much all the time, all day pretty much. PU is a bit sticky over time, but these pads are not hot boxes, imo. It's summer in the UK as I'm writing this, humid. Time will tell if they do the typical "pick up oils and grot" thing and deteriorate, leading to replacements again, but so far no discomfort as far as heat related issues go.Regarding my prior point about leakage, while sound produced from the cans doesn't seem to have a chance to travel from ear to ear (cause of glasses arms), external noise still comes through. Attenuation of these are sub par compared to a pair of head hugging Beyer DT100's (no joke I use Beyer DT100/ 150 sans cable as ear defenders at times, they are so good at that). These pads are not mother-in-law proof.I paid £16, I think I got £16 worth of value. If they fail, I may try an alternative, but buy these again, maybe for the m40x, just in case.

Excellent replacement ear pads
Excellent replacement ear pads for a pair of Audio Technical studio headphones. Good quality and a perfect fit onto the ’phone. They are slightly fiddly to get into position initially, but once installed they stay firmly in place. These pads are very comfortable in use and a good fit round the ears too, with a good sound seal. Recommended.

Better than the originals
I had this pair of headphones for years and the original leather was losing pieces, leaving lots of unpleasant small white scraps around. It still does that around the arch but I’ve managed to cover it, however I had to change the ear pads.I bought this pair because it was specifically made for the mx150 and to be fair they are great, better than the original as they are more comfy and I have the feeling the sound insulation is even slightly better thanks to the more generously filled pads. The only thing that I would have liked more would have been a better choice of colours, as I would have picked a white unit if I could.Installing the pads require a bit of patients and finger work, it’s hard to stretch and do it properly, but with some patience everything gets done.I can say that they extended the life of my headphones significantly! Good product!

super soft and plush, nicer to wear than the original
Fits perfectly and it is super soft. A huge upgrade compared to the cracked, hardened ones that I had originally on my ATH-M30x headphones. Super happy with the quality and feel of these new ones.
