DESCRIPTION - Quickstar is an early, slow bolting Kohl Rabi with dark green, slightly broad leaves. Bulbs are flat-round and very smooth, with a beautiful pale green colour. Plants are extremely uniform in size and maturity. Crisp texture and mild taste of the bulbs resembles water chestnuts................HARVEST -- March to August.................GROWING INSTRUCTIONS -- Plant into fertile, well-drained soil rich in humus. Plant them 45cm apart and water thoroughly. Keep well watered until established and in dry weather. Keep rows free of weeds, which can inhibit the stems' growth.
