Ground Coffee Dark Roast, French Roast, 28 Ounces

My favorite brand and type of coffee -- Peets. This is very fresh. I bought it during Prime days so it was a good deal, even cheaper than buying from Costco, and definitely cheaper than buying from a grocery store, although after Prime days you'll need to compare prices again. But as far as I'm concerned, there is no other dark roast coffee that is as fresh, smooth, and tasty as Peet's organic French roast!

Every once in a while, coffee I order online - even coffee brands I love - is stale on delivery. Never PEETS. It's consistently good; No; its excellent!

I use a French Press and love really great coffee. I am very particular about everything to do with my coffee. I used Starbucks for a very long time and it got too expensive but worse, it no longer tasted good to me. I had had Peets before so I placed an order. The price was okay and when I got it, I loved the aroma. It makes a lovely, tasty strong cup of coffee. I like coffee that borders on expresso so I like strong coffee. I highly recommend Peets.

This is my favorite coffee. I was reluctant to make this purchase, as I was concerned about the shipping wear and tear, and the expiration date. PKG ARRIVED METICULOUSLY PACKED AND SHIPPED, WITH AN ELEVEN MONTH EXPIRATION DATE. I'm very glad that I chose to give this a try.

(Written from husbands account) I have tried a lot of different brands of coffee and blends over the years and the Peet’s French Roast is by FAR my favorite. I even tried Peet’s Major Dickasons blend which is the most popular and I didn’t like it as much as the French Roast. My husband also really likes it, as do my parents, aunt and uncle, and grandparents. It’s so rich, yet doesn’t have that bad bitter aftertaste that often accompanies a dark roast. I love that it comes in a 28oz bag and lasts me about a month, if I’m making it every day for two people. I cannot recommend this enough. I only wish Amazon would offer the whole bean version, because I would really prefer to grind my own beans.

Can’t go wrong with Peet’s coffee. Nice to not worry about running out of coffee with regular monthly deliveries.

Like just about everything, coffee is a matter of taste. I like strong coffee and Peet's French Roast Ground, (and whole bean, if Ground isn't available in my local stores), is all I buy. As I write this review, the 18 Ounce bag of Peet's is a much better bargain, than the smaller size bags available at my local supermarkets, which they sometimes run out of. This is a very good coffee, for a very good price when purchased from Amazon.
