My isopods love this stuff. They go crazy for it. Must taste good for them to want it as much as they do. Doesn’t have a bad smell. Molds somewhat easily but just don’t put too much in and it wouldn’t be a problem. This stuff can last you a long time if you use it sparingly.

I have multiple types of isopods and when I used other types of isopods food, I didn't see much change in their population. But when I switched to this, they bred like crazy! Especially the Dairy Cow Isopods and my wild caught roly-poly type isopods. When I sprinkle this in their terrarium, they ALL rush out to eat it. My Powder Orange isopods don't seem to like this as much and prefer other isopod foods. If it had more protein, it would be perfect.

They love it. Smells good too. Solidifies into jelly somehow.

My isos LOVE this stuff. They eat it dry, and it’s their favorite!! Sometimes I treat them and mix this stuff with a little calcium powder and sprinkle it on lettuce. They’ve never been more healthy, and I think this is the reason why!! I’ll definitely be getting more!!!!

Awesome product - gels up pretty instantaneously. The isopods and springtails love it and I love it because it keeps them from munching on my plants

My Armadillidium isopod species treat this stuff like it’s crack. They love it, I’d definitely recommend trying it if you have Armadillidiums. I have noticed however that my Porcellio species like it a bit less, but still enjoy it decent. I’ll buy it again for sure, but wish there were larger container sizes of it for purchase.

It is true what they say, isopods love this when you use the gel version. Mine also ate it powered (dry), however they really prefer when it is in gel form. The measurements do not need to be exact. I just tap a bit of powder into an empty eggshell "bowl," pour a tiny dribble of hot water (from kettle) in the "bowl". Then stir... and it will begin to set into a gel-blob pretty quickly. It doesn't need to be chilled to firm up, it happens in seconds. My Zebra and Vulgare both really like it. If you didn't already know, it's mostly algae powder with some additional nutrition. Ground up plants and stuff. They love tiny stuff that is easy to eat, it seems. Repashy is a reputable brand for pet food (they give a lot of their products funny names). Supposedly they originally made this product for algae eater fish and people reported their isopods loving it so much, that Repashy changed the packaging and marketing to feature isopods. It's often recommended by isopod keepers, and I am one more person to try it and endorse it. It is their favorite treat. More than vegetables and fruit I've tried so far, and more than the live plants in the tank. Note that this is only a supplement item, and their main food is leaf litter.
