Review: Budget fence post protector - Bought this instead of the branded expensive post protector sleeves. I can get 14 x 6” posts wrapped from this one roll at a fraction of the cost. It is not adhesive so I warmed it with a blowtorch first to make it tacky, then after wrapping the posts I applied more heat to melt the bitumen. Quite a neat job, no idea if it will work but it’s a good thick layer of bitumen on the post at the end of the day so should do the job. I will let you know if the posts rot!

**Q: Can this be used on wood panel roof ?**
A: Yea use a heat gun though some say you dont need one but you'll get a much better adhesion if you use a heat gun it's good stuff I used when the lead flashing  had wore through between my wooden conservatory and the side of my house works great no leaks

A: No need to melt. It has a sticky back. Just unroll, peak and stick

**Q: Will this stick to onduline corrugated roof panels**
A: Hi, we have no specific testing with Onduline unfortunately.

**Q: Can I use this to seal a downpipe where rainwater pours out at a connection when there's heavy rain?**
A: I would say no but why dont you take the connection apart and use silicone sealant..better and cheaper
