I’ll be honest, the biggest reason I got the Anymaka stand was because I didn’t want one of those giant steel hammock stands permanently taking over our backyard or garage. We also don’t really have good tree placement, so a normal hammock setup just wasn’t practical for us. After using this for a few weeks now, I totally get the hype around it. The thing I like most is how portable it actually is. It folds down much smaller than I expected and the storage bag is genuinely nice quality instead of the thin cheap bags a lot of outdoor gear comes with. It’s still not “ultralight” by any means, but considering how stable the stand feels once set up, the weight feels reasonable. Setup was also easier than I expected. The very first time took maybe 5 minutes because I was figuring everything out, but after that it became really quick. Now it’s basically unfold, lock everything in, attach the hammock, and done. I also appreciate that the instructions are attached inside the bag because I’m definitely the type of person who loses paper manuals immediately. If I had to complain about anything, packing it back perfectly into the bag takes a little practice at first, and it’s probably not something I’d want to carry super long distances. But for backyard use, parks, camping, beach trips, or just moving around the house, it’s been awesome.

My kids always wanted a hammock but we don't have trees close to each other in our backyard where we can hang one and I didn't want to get a bulky standalone metal hammock stand that we don't have a place to store away during winter but this portable and foldable hammock stand is truly a game changer! My kids are loving it and fighting over this now and I know they will even fight over it more during the summer next year! It was super well packaged and inside the box was a super sturdy storage bag with carrying handle as well as shoulder strap. It's easy to carry but it's not super lightweight storage bag either because the aluminum frames are super heavy duty. I couldn't believe how quick and easy it was to open it up and setup the hammock. It literally took less than a minute to open and set it up once we got familiar with the setup. Oh, and the setup instructions are attached inside the storage bag with illustration, which is very handy. I love how it also incudes the shade and a cup holder, which is perfect during the summer when using it under the sun. The hammock itself is folded inside a pouch, which is attached to the hammock so you will never misplace it. They really thought of everything when designing this amazing portable hammock. I'm 5'11" tall and I was very comfortable inside the hammock as it wrapped my body around with plenty of space around my arms and legs. I'm planning to use it on our backyard for my kids but I can't wait until I take this out to a local park or even a beach during the summer next year, which I'm sure will get plenty of attention from other people. Love it!

Honestly, it’s fairly easy to put it up. Once you know how to do it . Accurately described in advertisements. but it does take a little to get a hang of it. I would only say one thing is that I think they’re using parachute fabric for a hammock, which would make you feel a little bit uneasy thinking that it’s very thin, but it definitely is strong enough to hold you but it is definitely compact. Can’t wait to try it out on the beach or out and about. I definitely are good sensory tool for kids on spectrum will definitely find it very pleasant and calming. User as a tool or just for enjoyment you can go wrong and have a limited space. Definitely nice to have a compact product like this would give five stars if not for learning curve but definitely wish they could offer different types of materials for spare parts.

I've used hammocks for years, always setting up between trees. In part it felt silly purchasing a hammock stand when trees were free, and in part I've never been very impressed with hammock stands. I was initially introduced to Anymaka when they were kickstarting their hammock chair last year. I've REALLY enjoyed the hammock chair, which prompted me to consider their original product, the folding hammock stand. I am thrilled with this purchase. It's sturdy, so easy to set up, and extremely functional. In a world of cheap junk, this hammock stand is everything they advertise. I purchased the frame only, as I have several gathered-end hammocks that I like. I initially didn't track that this frame has two different length settings, with the shorter setting designed to imitate the dedicated chair frame. Once I fully extended the frame, and stretched my hammock as tightly as possible, it was perfect. The frame _is_ heavy. While the hammock chair model comes with a backpack for carrying, this full-sized hammock frame and bag are really only ideal for moving around the house, and with a vehicle. I wouldn't want to hike with it. The full-sized hammock frame is larger than the hammock chair frame, meaning that I can't mix/match the bags to take the full-size hiking. This is a spectacular product, and I look forward to enjoying mine for YEARS to come.

It is definitely what we are looking for. Very easy to setup and no extra installation needed. Good quality materials and easily packed to put into the carrying bag. It is a real 3 sec setup which is super convenient. Not very heavy and easy to carry around. It can be put in any corner of the yard and stands quite stable on concrete or grass or rocks. Very happy with the purchase.

I bought the Anymaka mainly for road trips, parks, and hanging out outdoors because traditional hammocks always felt like too much effort for casual use. We’ve actually ended up using chair mode way more often than I expected. Most of the time we’ll set it up at the park or during family gatherings and use it like a super comfortable lounge chair while eating, reading, or sitting around talking. Chair mode feels really stable once you get the adjustments right, and it’s honestly more relaxing than the folding camp chairs we normally bring. We do still use full hammock mode sometimes, especially in the evening when we want to lay back for a while, but chair mode has definitely become the everyday setup for us since it’s easier to hop in and out of. The nice part is being able to switch between both depending on the situation instead of being stuck with only one setup. The first setup took a little experiment to figure out the right tension and height, but after that it became very quick. I also appreciate the smaller details, like the attached instruction guide inside the bag and the cup holder, which sounded gimmicky at first but actually gets used constantly. Overall, it feels much more thoughtfully designed than most outdoor gear we’ve bought recently. It’s become one of those things we automatically throw in the car anytime we’re heading somewhere outdoors.
