L'azienda familiare Campisi nasce nel 1854 a Marzamemi (SR), in un piccolo borgo intriso di tradizioni legate alla lavorazione del pesce. Legata al mare da oltre un secolo, Salvatore Campisi produce e trasforma una vastissima gamma di prodotti ittici, dal Tonno Rosso, Pescespada, Ricciole, alla pregiatissima bottarga, mosciame (prosciutto di tonno) fino alla raffinazione del pescato in pesti e paté. Marzamemi, il cui nome pare abbia origine dalla lingua araba ??Marsà al hamen o?? rada delle tortore. Un? luogo carico di storia per avere visto prima gli arabi lottare con i tonni, poi insediarsi nuovi tonnaroti, paese del vino nero e forte, delle spiagge dorate e del ciliegino. Il borgo marinaro nasce intorno all'??anno mille ed il porto gli permette di commerciare con il mondo esterno.

- The Fillets of anchovies are one of the Sicilian culinary excellences. Its flavor, natural and genuine, give your dishes a Mediterranean touch. Excellent to season pasta dishes made with hot or cold pasta, but also for unique dishes based on fish and fresh salads.
- Marzamemi, whose name seems to have originated from the Arabic Marsà al hamen or bay of turtledoves. A place full of history to have seen first, the Arabs fight with the tuna, then settle new tuna fishermen. Country of black and strong wine, golden beaches and cherry tomatoes. The seaside village is born around eleventh century and the port allows to trade with the external world.
- The family business Campisi was founded in 1854 in Marzamemi (SR), a small town steeped in traditions related to fish processing. Tied to the sea for over a century, Salvatore Campisi produces and processes a wide range of fish products, the Bluefin Tuna, Swordfish, Kingfish, the precious bottarga, mojama (tuna ham) to the refining of the catch in pests and pates.
