CUTEBEE Book Nook Kit DIY Miniature House Dollhouse Bookstore

CuteBee does it again!!! This turned out beautifully, had amazing details, and it was challenging! As a musician I really appreciated the instruments and all the little tributes to classical composers, Vinyl Records and of course recognizable book covers. This was only my 2nd book nook project, and was definitely more difficult and time consuming than the Owl Bookstore. I wouldn't recommend this one if its your first time! However, with lots of patience and creative maneuvering I was able to complete this in a total of about 9-10 hours. (I worked on this in several sittings). Lots of glueing involved, so I recommend having some tacky glue on hand as it works perfectly and dries fairly quickly. I also suggest tweezers; there are incredibly tiny parts to this set that were difficult to place. There was only one item that I managed to break myself, but fortunately it wasnt exactly needed and I covered the space with a book. The wire lighting gets me on these, and it was awkward during the build, but it all came together in the end! Overall Im very happy with it and Im excited to start my next project! These sets are great quality, sturdy, and snap together very nicely!

Beautiful set and fun to put together. This was our second set from Cutebee (we previously did the Muse Bookstore). Great quality pieces. My 12-year-old daughter was able to assemble it with very little assistance. Instructions were generally very clear. Took about 6 hours to assemble. Only trouble we had was getting the two front doors on, so we ended up leaving them off.

Pretty straight forward assembly and came out very nice! I’m going to get all the Japanese ones to complete my shelf now. There were some odd things though I included in a video. The instructions skip 40-42 but I noticed they were on the very back. That was definitely not how it was meant to be. You do have to be careful when sanding as the parts chip very easily but maybe I’m too aggressive. I also really love how easily accessible the battery back is for when you need to replace batteries. Despite some issues, I still rate it 5 stars since it was higher quality compared to other kits I’ve done.

I really liked this as it is really cute. The wiring up top didn’t seem to work and while putting the top part on, the rest kept coming apart. Some of the parts didn’t line up and because it’s made of particle board they break. They can also break while punching them out. I give up and it went in the recycling. SUPER disappointing.

Very fun to build. Quality is 5/5 (the pieces are so solid. I didnt need to use the extra parts at all but again just take your time and use the tools as suggestedin the tip.), difficulty is 4/5 (i wouldnt do this as a beginner.). I do suggest using double sided tape (had left overs from other kits) to stick on the windows vs using glue. It's much cleaner. Love this kit so much. I've build so many and this is now my favorite piece. Thinking of buying the Kyoto Snow now. I hope Cutebee comes out with new Japanese kits like this.

Absolutely perfect build. I’m sure that this would be beautiful without the add ons; however, I added on several things so my build does not Look like the pics. It went together easily, I didn’t have to walk away and come back, very clear instructions.

This is a beautiful quality and beautifully designed and well worth the time, effort and money project - that being said however, beware that this product does NOT take the minimal hours to put together as indicated, but hats off to anyone who can do it in the recommended time frame - so allow yourself the extra time to complete this project and yes, it will try your patience as some pieces are smaller and had to be glued but the overall completion of this remarkable project is well worth it - I would also add - READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST and do NOT REMOVE ANY of the pieces from the original box until or unless the directions call for it, and have a magnifying glass along with long needle nose tweezers as some of the pieces are quite small and hard to see and handle...when completed, be sure to have a set place in mind as moving this item can cause the pieces inside to shift and fall.. Great project for adults for snowy winter days stuck inside, unfortunately though this project is NOT for children or at least without extremely close parental supervision.! - I highly recommend Cutebee as the high standard for these types of projects, this was delivered intact and ahead of time, so also a plus.! Love this! I do wish the swinging doors stuck better together so I did leave those off

I really enjoyed building this kit. The musical theme was what sold me and the little instruments so so cute and "realistic". The instructions were very clear, the light kit was easy to install. The pieces were solid, yet not too difficult to punch out. There were some extra pieces which I did use. The only issue I had was the entire board K was misprinted so I reached out to Cutebee customer service, who shipped me the board at no cost. I did have to use glue for some pieces that were not on too tightly, and I used double sided tape strips for all the plastic pieces. The end result was amazing.

I enjoyed putting this Booknook together. Some of the instructions lack clarity, but I did manage to figure them out. The wiring for the lights was particularly tricky. It looks beautiful on the shelf. If there was one thing I would change, it would be to eliminate the need for AAA batteries and use a USB charger instead. Whenever I turn the lights on, I am mindful of using up the battery life. If it was USB chargeable, I would leave the lights on each night. I messed up a bit with the clear windows, as they require glue, and superglue tends to run a bit, so the windows are not entirely clear
