Easy to use, legitimate argan oil, wonderful for skincare. Used right out of the shower, as a hair mask, as a base for a body shimmer, or a base for rich perfume oils (all of which I have done). Pay attention to smell though, because argan oil does eventually go bad. I was able to use most of my 8 fl oz bottle before the scent started to shift (went from light nutty to something more stale) months down the road. Wonderful and rich moisturizer, wish I used it more often than I did. I plan to re-buy for the winter months since this stopped my skin from drying out and cracking in the bitter winters!

This review is for the Velona brand argan oil. I've purchased 2 other brands of argan oil before but I never realized that there's a difference between this brand and other brands until I compared the ingredients. The other brands had alot of added chemicals including dimethicone and fragrance, and I discovered that velona's argan oil is pure (according to their ingredients list). I originally bought argan oil just to help with frizzy and unmanageable hair. The 3 brands had similar results when it came to frizziness. They all tamed the frizziness, added shine, and made my hair look healthy. In that regard, velona brand works similar to the other 2 brands. It wasn't until I applied velona's argan oil to my face that I noticed a big difference. I didn't even know that I could apply it to my face until I read the info on the bottle. After 2 days of applying it to my face before sleep, I noticed my skin had no irritation, skin looked smoother, redness was gone, and my face looked brighter (like I had used a lightener). Initially I forgot that I had applied argan oil and was wondering why my skin looked so good. I normally use different skincare products on my face, but I took a break for a week or two, so I know that it's the argan oil that's improving my skin. (To be fair, I didn't try the other brands of argan oil on my face. But now that I know that those brands have alot of added chemicals, I don't even want to try putting them on my face). Velona's was one of the cheapest price/ounce that I found. I'm not an expert on argan oil so I checked online to see what argan oil should smell like and velona's does indeed have a subtle nutty scent as described on the internet. So far, velona's argan oil is working well for me. It initially feels greasy, but after a short time, it absorbs into my skin and most of the greasiness is gone. I will continue to be a customer.
