This brush works really well for slicked-back buns, ponytails, and taming flyaways. The bristles help smooth the hair without making it look too harsh or overly brushed. Great brush for styling my daughter hair

I should have looked at the dimensions closer and not be swayed by the affordability. This brush is narrow and needs help going through my hair which is not that thick but long. The bristles are not as strong as another boar bristle brush I have. I still will use it as it provides a nice shine to my hair after brushing.

As a black girl who doesn’t quite like the really slicked back look, this brush is soft enough to keep my curls where I want them, without flattening them fully. Beware, bristles will come out when you take it out of the package, so I’d recommend rubbing out the loose ones before using the brush. If you’re looking for a stiff brush, this isn’t it, but this is ideal for soft pullbacks or brushing children’s hair.

I made the switch from regular, plastic hairbrushes to this 100% boar bristle brush and the change in my hair health is evident. This brush creates such a smooth, sleek look.

Sad I wasted money on this product. Pulled it out of the packaging and realized there were so many loose bristles. Spent 5 min pulling them out and they still continued falling out. Bristles feel like plastic and the tips look like they have specs of orange paint on them to give the appearance of real boar bristles??? The pointy end of the brush does not look nearly as pointy as the image advertised and would be useless to part hair. I just threw it out cause it's not worth the effort of returning and I'd never use this on my hair. I'd just buy one from the store next time from a well-known/reputable brand...
