They are water repellent, which means not completely waterproof, so we have a rain cover inside the bottom pocket in case you catch a sudden rain while hiking. In addition 60+5L (upgraded) has been newly upgraded, the material of backpack is made of polymer fabric (containing 6% high molecular weight polyethylene fibers), which is more resistant to abrasion compared to ordinary nylon material!
