Best sound in BT cans under $1k
Performed way above it’s price level. Put them on shortly after they arrived and now it’s after midnight still listening. Mozart, Bach, Chopin, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and deep ambient all sound great. The bass is surprisingly deep without being boomy. Nice crisp high w/o noticeable sibilance. Buy these, you will not be disappointed. Spend another $1000 or more and you might notice some improvement, but it not be worth the price. I own several cans and these are the most comfortable even for hours. Others include Focal, Sony, Hifiman all costing more delivering less. Ask AI and they recommend these as the best buy in blue tooth cans. Note: Questyle dongle is recommended

Serious audiophile class headphones for the price
The sound quality is seriously good. Specially the soundstage. The dynamic eq ensures that audiophile listening does not mean you have to suffer flat bass. The class ab amp does help in the volume and clarity. I was literally hearing the background noises captured in a recording. Never heard them before in any headphones . It handily beats b&w on the above counts. B&W is smooth but can get a little uninteresting. One small factor for me is the weight distribution is a little off and seal around ear is a little uncomfortable as compared to b&w . But not a deal breaker considering the sound quality. Don’t care much about the anc

Premium sound, premium build, and a “just one more track” kind of comfort
I’ve been using the Cambridge Audio P100 SE for daily work, calls, and long listening sessions, and they feel like a genuinely premium product—both in sound and build. Sound quality: The first thing that stands out is how clean and controlled everything sounds. Bass is present and deep, but it doesn’t smear into the mids. Vocals sit forward with good detail, and the highs have sparkle without getting sharp or fatiguing. The overall tuning feels balanced and “hi-fi”—the kind of sound that makes you notice layers in mixes you thought you already knew. Comfort & fit: They’re comfortable for extended sessions. The clamp feels secure without becoming painful, and the earcups seal well. I can wear them for a few hours straight without needing breaks. Noise isolation / ANC: Isolation is solid, and the ANC helps a lot with steady background noise (office hum, fans, street noise). It makes focused listening and work much easier. Build & design: The packaging and finish are impressive, and the headphones feel well-made—sturdy, clean lines, and a refined look that doesn’t scream “gamer” or “plastic consumer tech.” Battery / daily use: No battery anxiety so far—these hold up well for regular daily usage. Controls are straightforward once you get used to them. What to know before buying: If you like very exaggerated bass or an overly bright “hyped” sound, this may feel more mature and accurate than what you’re used to. For me, that’s exactly the point. Bottom line: If you want a premium headphone that sounds refined, looks elegant, and works great for long sessions, these are an easy recommendation. Update: I substacted a star for issues with Bluethoot connection on both windows PC and Android phone...

IMO GREAT HEADPHONES, WOULD BUY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These maybe the Best Headphones I have ever owned, 2 year warranty, 60hrs on NC and 100hrs listening to music + they have a replaceable battery unlike Bose, so. The construction is way better than any Bose Headphones I have owned. I have owned Bose products for about 20 years and currently own 5 sets of headphones and the Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones, I bought them in August/2024 and in May/2025 one earpiece stopped working, and just had to send them back for same reason, 3 Bose QC Ultra Headphones in a year, that is insane they are not bad when they are working, but terrible quality. Cambridge Audio P100SE IMO hands down beat Bose QC Ultra headphones.

Music as it was intended to be.
**Update** I originally gave a five star rating. That was before trying to use them with my windows pj's. I've used them with two windows units, and constant issues. They're NOT worth the several hours I've put into trying to make them work, no matter the sound quality!!! Quite frankly a waste of my money! Music as it was intended to be. You can hear every note the artist wanted you to hear. The highs are crisp and clear. The bass is strong but not muddled like some of the more expensive headsets. Some may say the sound isn't warm, which means that the headset doesn't tone down the highs or muddled the bass. This is exactly what the artist and their audio engineer intended for you to hear. Love these.

Good hardware, disappointing software and small fit
The sound quality is pretty good, though I feel it's a bit shouty and doesn't handle loud volumes very well. The noise cancellation is great, about what you'd expect from a recently released model as of this writing. Better than previous generations of noise-canceling, e.g. the Sony XM4. The build quality feels decent and there's no rattle or slop. The earcups are deep and don't touch my ears at all. But the headband is tiny, hard, and cuts into my skull. The headphones overall are clearly designed for smaller heads and do not fit me. The clamp force alone would be enough to keep them on my head without the headband, so that tells me they were not meant for my head size. The buttons are placed exactly where I place my fingers to put on/off the headphones, so I end up pressing them accidentally every time I try to move them. The user experience is not great. As for the innards, the USB device reports itself as the Mpow HC5, a generic Chinese headset you can get on Aliexpress for $20; this does not inspire me to the quality of the DAC or other electronic parts. Additionally, scrolling through the Normal, ANC, and Transparency modes has the microphone array randomly start up and turn off outside its use in the Transparency mode; I wasn't able to figure out the rhyme or reason for this. Overall, seems like good hardware with good tuning, but doesn't fit my head and the guts are buggy off-the-shelf Chinese chips with nothing special about them. I didn't bother trying the mobile app before returning.

the ethical choice but NOT THE SONY KILLERS YOU THINK THEY ARE
Good headphones for the price, but with notable drawbacks. They’re glitchy, heavy, and somewhat unreliable. Sound quality is solid but far from MINDBLOWING. they lack dynamic range and feel somewhat flat (THIS IS WHY PEOPLE BUY THEM ,I KNOW ) BUT something’s missing,I’m not exactly an audiophile and can’t pinpoint exactly what that is . I appreciate the build quality and especially the repairability—Cambridge Audio always delivers in terms of quality and care —but overall, the sound left me wanting more.

I know it may seem pricey, but just get it, because it will blow your mind!!!!
I own a lot of audio gear, and every once in a while something comes along that sounds far too good for its price range and the P100 SE happens to be just that! True, it is not necessarily cheap, especially when compared to other products with seemingly the same features at much lower price ranges. However, the fidelity you get with these cans (yes cans ... I am that old) far exceeds its price point! Sound stage could be just a little wider? Yes! But the sound is so balanced, clear, defined with lots of texture that not having a wider sound stage makes it irrelevant to the listening experience. Everything is on point right out of the box, the lows throaty but controlled, the mids textured and the highs very articulated without being at all "shouty." Now, what surprised me the most was the base. Whenever I feel adventurous, I wear one of my JBLs which I absolutely love because its deep notes, but all else ... mids and highs tend to take a bit of a backstage to their base heavy nature. Do not take me wrong, the JBLs sound signature is still extremely welcomed, but since owning the P100SE, I am slowly reaching out less for them and more and more for the Cambridge cans because they give that earthy base without sacrificing any of the mids and highs frequencies. Matter of fact, these cans have made exposed Bose and Sony cans weaknesses. I know sound is subjective, but when you also own high fidelity cans, hence are used to listening to music through vacuum tubes gear, you just do not expect to have a pair of Bluetooth headsets to sound as good as the P100 do. These are now my daily drivers period! Oh, and by the way, calls are crystal clear! Whomever I am having a call with can never tell that I am no a headset, much less if I am outside or in my office. It is not perfect, but considering the price and no mic boom these will absolutely surprise you. :)))

Superbe casque.
Et finir sur Les 4 saisons jouées par Sir Neville Marriner dirigeant The Academy of St Martin in The Fields.
