My car would not start after not driving for a week. I naturally concluded that it was the battery, so I used a battery charger to recharge it to full capacity as indicated by the charger. Still, the car would not start and just made cranking noises. Research on some YouTube videos suggested that the problem was the starter. I was going to give up and call for towing. The dilemma was the car could not be put into neutral without electricity, hence I could not pull it out of the garage to have it towed. Further research shows some crazy steps to force the car from 'Park' to 'Neutral' position. I was not comfortable with that, so I decided to give this gadget a trial. With Prime membership, it saved me $30 and got overnight delivery. In the end, it worked like a charm. My car started on first trial, and I was able to drive it to a local auto parts store to have the battery replaced. The only thing to pay attention to was that the gadget came only 76% charged and the manual says to charge it to 100% before first use. It took a couple of hours to do that. Once it is charged, the 2nd time I used it, it still says it's 100% charged. That seems to mean the charges will last for a while. Oh, another surprise is, that the gadget has a USB-C output as well as an input. You can use it to charge your cell phone while camping if needed. There are higher priced models from other vendors, but for my money, this model already has all the bells and whistles I care for. I am totally happy, knowing that I can jump start my car by myself even if it is parked in a confined space.

One of the best jump starters I have ever used, and for an amazing price. It works in 15 seconds to start your car, it’s amazing. Plus it works as a battery bank for your phone and has a flashlight included. It’s everything you need in your car, all in one. It’s so easy to use too. Simply hook it up, fire it up, and turn on your car. Can’t get easier than that. Love it!

It works. Cables are pretty short. If you crank for a few seconds and the vehicle doesn’t start, the warning light will go red. The instructions give no information about this. If you wait, it’ll just stay red. Basically you need to power it down and then try again. It seems to reset itself. Make sure you recharge it after every use. I use my 65 watt computer charger and it charges pretty fast.

Came back from out of state on vacation, while I was at work the next day, my wife’s 1 Ton Ford Super Duty Diesel wouldn’t start and batteries drained down from trying. I told her I would try my little Oxilam jump starter on it when I got home but wasn’t confident it would fire up that big of a diesel which has 2 batteries almost dead. When I got home, I pulled the Oxilam jump starter out of the trunk of my car where I kept it stored for the last 6 months and told her I might have to charge it before trying. When I turned the jumper on, it read 100% battery and shocked me since it sat in a hot trunk for 6 months. I hooked it up to her big diesel and told her to try it. I heard the ignition kick in and start warming up the glow plugs, then after 5 seconds she tried starting it. The motor never hesitated one bit, it cranked over fast and after about 7-8 seconds it fired to life. After I disconnected the jumper I looked to see how much it drained during starting and it actually used 32% of the battery to start that behemoth. I have to say I’m extremely impressed enough that I’m ordering one for her right now! Love how compact it is. I own the 6000 amp jumper so I can’t imagine how good the larger amp units are. Definitely don’t regret this buy!!!

Fue un encargo para mi papá, así que no puedo dar una reseña de primera mano, pero mi papá conoció este producto gracias a un conocido y lo vio cómo funcionaba y que realmente sacaba de apuros. Lo recomienda mucho para aquellos que batallan mucho que se les queda el carro y no tienen cables o les es difícil que alguien más les pase corriente. Vale completamente la pena la inversión, según mi papá.
