Fab bit of kit I've used the MSR dragonfly for years and this has some great features
Fab Facts, The air & Fuel mix on start up is great no pre heat its like lighting a propane burner, the way it locks save accidental turn on, the pressure indicator although basic works, the de pressure air only switch stops fuel getting everywhere and clears the pipe. the build quality seams solid. the way the stove connects to the pump and bottle are mini quick connects. (like a hozelock pipe). The stove (excluding pump) folds down tiny and fits in the msr 475 stowaway pot.Down Sides: can only use Petrol/ gasoline or white gas/Coleman fuel. The flame control is not good as on the MSR Dragonfly so simmering is a little awkward, however 500ml boiling water takes around 3 minutes and the pots butt was soot free.

very hot burn you can deep fry with this if you want to
this will be used for motorcycle camping as its easy to stow away

it works
simple to setup and use, it self-primes. good quality build. i have never cooked on petrol powered burner, was expecting odourless burn such as you get with gas, but no, you'd definitely know its petrol. Having said that there was no soot on the pan. overall satisfied.

So Good I Got a Second One
It’s not without flaws, but the Muka is a joy to use. If it were the only one you ever buy I’d advise against it for a couple of reasons: the generator is a consumable part and they’ve become hens teeth in Canada, as Soto is no longer selling stoves here; the pump is extremely complex and you want to be comfortable potentially doing surgery on it with difficult to find orings if it leaks. Sure other pumps use orings too, but this one is an order of magnitude more complex small and easy to bungle. Oh, last warning: it doesn’t simmer like a Dragonfly or Polaris, which have dedicated valves to controlling fuel flow. Those caveats aside, this stove absolutely rocks for delivering high heat and not requiring preheating via alcohol or using the “fireball method”. This advantage is why the pump is complex and risky to take say, on a yearlong journey. As a fun, light well built, and innovative stove for short winter trips, it’s a joy. I particularly dislike having fuel drip on me or out in the wild as all MSR stoves do, so the air purge here is welcome and works like a charm. As long as you know why you need such a stove and what it’s limitations are, I’d get one while they still exist. I suspect the trickle of Mukas at good prices will eventually stop and then you’ll only have dramatically pricier options.

Sehr guter Campingkocher

Works as intended
I bought this because I have some type of stove fetish, I have only fired it up for testing and it works fine. It produces an amazing amount of heat and having the option to burn white gas or unleaded is nice. Someday I will take this out on a cold weather backpacking trip. The fuel line on this unit is much more flexible than the hoses on the MSR brand products which is a nice change. The fuel bottles are for this stove only that is the downside of this stove yo have to buy this fuel container to use there pump, so don't plan on hooking up to your MSR cans.
