The truth is these are the most affordable and easiest way to get your protein intake in to where it should be throughout the day and to stay full. Eat two a day and have the rest of your protein at dinner. Have three per day and you’re pretty much done depending on how much protein your goal is each day. They taste like a non nonsense protein bar. Which is really no taste at all except a slight hint of peanut butter. If you’re looking for a wonderful taste in your mouth, make a salad, eat butter and bread, enjoy some pasta, have a cookie or ice-cream. Have a delicious peach or a chocolate shake. This is not that. This is about getting your protein in, medicine for your body. Last time I checked if you chew a Tylenol it taste awful so you swallow it and boom headache goon. LOVE your body enough to know this is about taking care of your overall health and nutritional needs.

This comment is on the Musashi Dark Chocolate and salted caramel. I have not tried the other items in their line up. It is not what you may expect. First, the flavor is interesting, chocolate, yes, but the rest of what is going on is not caramel to my taste, it is more like very, very mild cherry. So not at all unpleasant. The texture is unusual. It is like nougat, but very dense. Very chewy. It is not like a "candy bar" that is chewy, because it is more dense, and therefore a bit dry. Not so good to take along on a walk unless you have a beverage--coffee would be my first choice because this bar seems almost made to have with coffee, but water is also fine. I haven't tried it with tea yet but think tea would also be a great match. Soda pop, not a good match to my taste. Individual results may very, as they say. Portion--this is not like a candy bar. One of these bars is very filling, in fact, half a bar is just right for me. If this were a candy bar you could pop it down in a minute, wash with a beverage, and away you go. Not so with this. Before I am even done with one bar I am feeling full. It takes a lot of chewing and swallowing to get a bar down. I wonder if it actually pulls moisture out of my system and expands in my stomach because I feel full fast, but about a half a bar is all I want. I am starting to cut one bar into four portions to pop in just one at a time through the day. That seems to work to keep me feeling full and alert. 12 bars for 30 bux is around 3 bux a throw for easy math. 3 each sounds like a lot, but if I think of it as replacing a meal and a snack, then not so much. The flavor is nice, but leaves me wanting more variety if overused, so I will probably look at another of the Musashi bars or a competing brand to mix up the flavor a bit.

Great way to add protein to your daily intake. They fill my husband up and curve sweet, or hunger cravings. They don't have the usual dryness that protein bars have, but there is still some dryness. The flavor is dark chocolate and caramel without any chemical taste. They can melt just as easily as a regular chocolate bar, but they are only coated in chocolate. We've never had to refrigerate them even in hot summer days (we do have air on in the summer). They could be refrigerated in an air tight container too. We've cancelled our subscription to these bars because they are just too expensive to buy monthly. Drinking protein shakes is more cost effective and by making out own shakes I can adjust how much protein we are eating.

Just ate my first one today, and it did not disappoint! Normally protein bars leave me hungry and I eat at least two. Today I brought a Musashi as my second bar but ate it first. It not only tasted good, but by the time I finished I was full. I did not even have an interest in the second bar and, unlike any other time, left it in the car for later in the day. I was full until lunch, about four hours later. The Musashi is only one to ever do this, and I think I've tried all of them. As far as other complaints about dryness or chewability or whatever.....I say "Whatever". This is a good bar. I hope its other flavors are as good tasting, but even if not, its satiating effect is the best I've experienced.

Astonishing amount of protein. Taste is not too great, kind of like powdered protein held together somehow. Texture like a dried 3 musketeers bar, tastes kind of like circus peanuts. Very big, none of us could eat a whole one in one sitting.

As a person that has tried my fair share of protein bars and shakes over the course of nearly 30 years now, back when they all seemed to taste like a combination of dirt and gravel back in the 90s to this most recent brand, they have come a long way. Being completely transparent like most people knocking on 50, I may have fallen off a bit in my exercise routine and my diet and I am slowly starting to work Healthier meals and supplements back into my lifestyle. I have recently tried two other brands with varying levels of resentment and or or satisfaction LOL, this was a very impulsive buy because it was the most expensive. It was one of those look away and Press the purchase button. To my surprise and shock, this was by far and away the best tasting protein bar that I've had since starting to experiment with them again adding to the fact that they have 45 g of protein which is double of the other protein bars I tried. It's chewy unlike one or the other bars that I've recently purchased that weee more like trying to rip a piece of jerky off and chew it up. I don't need any other flavors. Salted caramel and dark chocolate is my go-to so I am a little biased. The A few extra dollars this is costing me is outweighed by the amount of protein that comes with it, a fair amount of fat which is always good, carbs are just a little bit higher than I would like but I can live with that, add to the fact that this keeps me full and satiated for a while while while I'm at a work trudging my way through a 12-hour shift And I put something healthy in my mouth instead of a Snickers bar. I will be coming back to this brand again and again, didn't think I was going to find one that I liked after three tries so this makes me very happy.

Good numbers. Very hard and grainy flavor not edible on a good note.
