As a resident physician I have worked myself into the habit of drinking energy drinks on a daily basis to help me focus. But I wanted something that was easier on my stomach and gave me less heartburn, so I decided to give something like this a shot. I'm sure glad I did. Energy drinks like Reign and Bangs definitely give me energy, but they also make me jittery, sometimes flush my face, and can make me feel a little flustered if I really haven't had enough sleep the night prior. This gum does none of that, and only gives me focus. There's no anxiousness or jittery feeling that comes with it. I chew one piece in the morning right after breakfast as I begin my shift, and then another right after lunch and it works great. If I'm working a 14+ hour shift I'll chew a third piece around dinner, but I don't like to have caffeine after 2-3pm as it makes it more difficult for me to sleep that night. My only complaint about the gum is that the flavor does not last long. It is gone within half an hour or so. This really doesn't bother me enough to put up a real gripe about it, but a couple of my brothers and friends who I have recommended this to dislike that aspect enough to push them away from using it. My favorite flavor is the cinnamon, my least favorite is the arctic mint.

I've purchased this gum several times and always keep some in the car and in my travel bags. It's got enough caffeine to keep me up through 4+ hour drives on low sleep with only 1 or 2 pieces. If you have to pull an all-nighter you can get through with these but the package does warn against having too many in a short period of time so going through more than a pack trying to stay up is probably not advised. The pieces are a bit larger than most chewing gum so it might not be good for those who need the caffeine while at work in jobs that don't approve of visible gum chewing. While much of taste is down to personal preference all of them will have a sort of chemical aftertaste, probably the caffeine itself, that some of my friends have found unpleasant. Having had all the flavors I don't think any of them are unpalatable but I found the green ones to have the nicest flavor for me personally. Overall I find it an easy recommendation and have gotten several friends to swear by it as well.

Wish the amount of gum was more. If it weren’t caffeinated, I would pop 2 and chew. Taste, sugar content and amount of caffeine was perfect!

Good alternative to energy drinks with a 100mg boost of caffeine. Decent flavor for about 5-7 mins, but not a gum that you chew for a while.

The gum itself was perfect size (only one needed), & the freshness seemed to last for several hours. It was quite flavorful, especially for something so small that has a large amount of caffeine added, as one will usually have a chalky aftertaste. As far as the energy goes (100 mg/ea. of caffeine), it’s similar to a “small” cup of coffee for me, but it hit my assistant quick & hard; I’m a black/bold cup-a-day drinker, & her, an every now-and-again Starbucks indulger. So, if you are sensitive to caffeine, I suggest taking 1/2 a piece to start, then see where your at in 15-20 min. All & all a good product, but I did have an issue when checking my order. Unfortunately, there were several bags from my order of eight that had several PIECES MISSING from the UNOPENED BAGS (of 5). That’s one of those small (but annoying) issues that isn’t worth the hassle, but still needs to be addressed/handled regardless. Things happen, but when you look at the entire order, that comes out to 1 OUT OF 8 PACKS MISSING. I’ll definitely live without the caffeine, & my dogs will be thankful (they don’t like humans chewing gum), but Just FYI @ Amazon & @militaryenergygum.com.

These work pretty well. I'm not sensitive to caffeine at all. Coffee, soda, energy drinks. None work on me. This seems to have a small effect though, since it gets absorbed so much quicker then normal food or drink. (I don't get hyper but it does give me a bit more energy.) You're only supposed to have one piece at a time and it, quite surprisingly, has a lot of caffeine in that single piece. And each pack comes with 5 pieces of gum. So that is a lot of caffeine and a lot quicker then drinking an energy drink (which generally has 10mg per Fluid ounce so unless you chug it you're getting as much or more caffeine and quicker here.) As for the flavor. If you've ever had caffeine energy gum you know what to expect. There's two other brands I've tried and they all taste the same. It has a weird taste to it and not the best texture but it's not the kinda gum you're supposed to be chewing all day. The cinnamon and spearmint are pretty good, not a fan of the mint. I got this to try each and I think I'm going to do a full pack of cinnamon next.

Works for around 90 minutes. Most of the time that's all I require.

I originally received a pack of this gum in a 24 hour US MRE. The packaging advertised that you could find more of the product on amazon, and what do you know, you actually could. Needless to say, I purchased a variety pack--and have done so numerous times at this point. All the flavors are good, but they do have a slightly 'strange' flavor to them, which I can only assume is due to the caffeine. However, I would say that the taste is actually still pretty good despite this. The three flavors are all good and different in their own obvious ways. The cinnamon gum tastes just as you would expect, while the same could be said of the spearmint. The arctic mint is the one that is definitely somewhat strange and hard to describe, but it's still an enjoyable minty flavor. Overall, definitely not a bad product to get your hands on if you need a quick boost and don't have the time or luxury of having some coffee or an energy drink.
