cant go back
upgraded my small $40 bidet to this and I cant go back. i cant believe us americans are so far behind on bidets. everything worked and fit right out the box, no leaks or missizing. looks like a normal seat but a bit nicer. everyone like the automatic seat heating when they come over. everyone. nozzle self cleaning is very nice. the air drying is also a huge plus over cheaper ones. this pretty much has every feature you would want out of a bidet, and for a pretty great price this is also the most intuitive remote ive seen. so many bidets you have to study to learn how to use, but this is super simple cannot reccomend enough and if you are thinking about trying a bidet for the first time... DO IT! it will probably change your life

Revised Review, now 5 Star. (Original Review Heading: "Gives the impression of being small."
Revised/Updated Review: Upon reading the review, the mfr. contacted me (on their own) and made an offer of swapping out the original bidet with a different model that was purported to have a larger and more comfortable seat. I agreed to the change and within days at their own expense shipped a replacement. This new model did address both my concerns. We now have 3 different mfr/models of bidets in our house, and this is my favorite. Cleans exceptionally well, quiet, plenty of heated water, easy to install and use. We really like that the main control knob is really all you need for daily use. You can change any setting via the remote, but once set to our liking the knob is all we use. The seat does stay up without additional coaxing. The 5 star rating reflects all the changes with the new one, and also reflects iLiD's quick and complete customer service. "Recommended"! Original Review: I’d give it more stars for the cleaning efficiency, as it cleans very well. However wo other problems are the reason for down rating. The lid has to be held open for awhile for it to stay in the raised position. Otherwise it closes down… I don’t have time for that. The main reason I returned it was the configuration of the seat. Others have mentioned the size of the “hole” being small….its not really, but the way the rear of the seat rises gives you the impression of it being much smaller than it is. This is a game changer. The remote control is also problematic as it was hard to figure out how to “make it stop” as my wife put it. I’d pass on this one.

A Good Value
We needed to replace our Bemis (Bio Bidet) electric bidet as the seat failed catastrophically after a couple of years of use. This one was cheaper, but it's an overall good value, but it is guided by the comparison between the two bidets. First, installation. The cardboard template was OK, but we have a Glacier Bay Newcastle. Being one of the cheaper toilets at the box store, it's likely what's in your bathroom. This matters because the tank lid protrudes about an inch more than a standard lid (purely aesthetic). This means the bidet lid may not stay up when you use it. Using the template, the plate covered the Glacier Bay name on the bowl. I needed to move it to where the plate "underlines" the brand name (see pic). Good news- there is a button (pictured) that allows you to remove the seat fairly easily ( and probably for regular cleaning). I didn't really like the rubber stops for the plate either. After swearing at them for a while, I realized I could put the bolt in it, and it would push into the hole easier. That is a bit of useful info the manual could've added. Other than those issues, installation was straightforward, especially if you've ever installed a bidet. Finally, the bidet function. The heated seat is nice, and the squeak worked out after a couple of days. The stream of water is adequate, but there is no power behind the power function. The Bemis one could cut concrete, if you know what I mean. This feels like an angel gently squirting your behind, which I suppose is OK. You do you. The remote doesn't seem very responsive, so I usually use the dial/button on the side to operate it. Speaking of the remote, I enjoyed that you had personalized settings on the Bemis one; no such luck here. Overall, considering this is a couple of Benjamins cheaper than the Bemis, I'd recommend this one. Unless you absolutely need to cut through concrete or need driver presets, this will do the intended job.

Impressive ......... so far
Just received the iliD Smart Bidet Toilet Seat and installed it. I have been looking to replace my USPA seat which has been failing for some time. This seat had just what I needed. The following are my experience points on my installation and use experience: 1. It was very easy to install, albeit since I was replacing a previous bidet all the plumbing connections were in place and they all fit with what came with the seat. Took me somewhere between 30-45 minutes. 2. The water stream is plenty powerful. For some it may be too strong, but the solution to use the front spray selection. 3. So far it is working very well, but it is only been less that 24 hours. I may do a follow up later next year. 4. It appears to be well built and feels pretty sturdy. 5. I like that you can control it with both the remote and the side dial. 6. It is clear from the instructions that whoever reviewed them did not have a strong command of the English language. Sentences tended to be worded oddly along with sentence structure. I was able to navigate through them well enough to install the seat, but I did have to read and re-read them a bit to ensure I really understood what they were saying. 7. Seat is comfortable. 8. Some have commented on the night light placement. Yes, it is an issue. It really should light up the bowl. It's placement appears to be more a "oops we forgot the nightlight, let's put it on the knob", poor location. Probably my biggest complaint. 9. The parts bag was broken open, but all the needed parts were in the bag and the seat clearly had not been used, installed, or removed from the box. It did make me a bit concerned though. 10. Big plus, it appears Kuli Appliance has reached out to offer support, a free water filter, and listen to issues, but I believe they are using an anonymizer email application as the email address appeared suspicious. I did not respond to the email. I went through Amazon to respond. So if this was really them...kudos to you. They are sincere about their customer service. Change your email address though so it doesn't go to spam. 11. For what you get you can't beat the price. I did a lot of research. Several other manufacturers charge a boatload more for a seat with similar capability. In summary I still am giving it 5 stars. Price competitive, easy installation, works well, and comfortable. From my perspective all these other things are just nits that could be easily resolved should they build a next model. Update: After using this bidet for the last few weeks I have to say this is the best bidet we have ever used. Solid mounting, solid performance, great price for what you get when compared to the competition.

Amazing upgrade for the bathroom!
Installation was easy and straightforward. The heated seat and warm water feature work wonderfully, especially in colder weather. The remote is very intuitive and responsive. Definitely worth every penny!

Zero regrets. Buy it! You’ll be happy you did.
This thing is amazing. I was hesitant about the brand, but that was silly because this thing is a solid product. I mostly got a bidet because wet wipes are horrible for your pipes and the environment. I had nightmares that sewage pipes would back up because wipes do not break down. No more wet wipes for me! In that regard the thing will pay for itself in a few months. I don’t have any complaints with it and I’m a week in. I set it up last weekend in about 30 minutes. If I can do it, you can do it. The functions are awesome and it’s easy to use. Just read your manual and you’ll be golden. The instructions could be a bit better, but they give you basically what you need. The rear wash options do really well. I thought having a warm toilet seat was a bit bougie, but I kind of don’t care now… now I refuse to sit in a cold toilet seat. ;) Honestly, if you have an electric outlet near your toilet, buy this. Zero regrets. Also, it fits great in my standard elongated toilet. It’s easy to adjust and move around to get the fit just right. Just measure your toilet before you buy. To recap: Buy it. It’s a good investment. I’m seriously so happy with it and I don’t write a ton of reviews. P.S. - in looking out for others, I could see that the toilet seat might be a bit snug for larger size folks. I’m male, 5’11, all leg, 170 lbs and the seat is pretty much a perfect fit for me. Tight enough that water won’t go flying, but enough wiggle room to adjust your bum as needed.

Recommend as long as it keeps working like it is
I have only had this IliD bidet a few weeks but so far so good. I have purchased three Smart bidet SB 100R bidets and really liked them but they seem to die in two years and after this last one died I decided to take a chance on another brand because I think a bidet should last longer than that. I had a BB 100 Bio bidet that lasted far longer but they are pricy and honestly the Smart Bidets worked as well as the Bio bidet did. The iliD bidet works well. Great water pressure and unlimited warm water but there is a momentary flash of cold water before the warm water. The remote isn’t as compact as the SB 100Rs and I’m not a fan of it. Sometimes it fails to respond when buttons are pressed. I have found that if your hand is cupped around the side of the remote with the large circular button it seems to block the signal and often gripping the remote differently helps. Holding the remote to the right (as sitting on the bidet) also helps if needed. So why did I keep this one? It works REALLY well so far and it has a few extra features the BB 100Rs did not have. all the features work really well. The blow drier is the best one I’ve tried on a bidet. It doesn’t get you completely dry but it helps. Everything works well enough that I am willing to wait this out and see if it will last any longer than the Bio Bidets did. It comes with a two year warranty though the actual value of a warrantee is never certain. Some have faulted the remote for not being back lighted and the night light for being on the side and not being in the bowl. Fixing both those features and making the remote smaller would be improvements for sure but I have found that turning off the nightlight and remembering where the buttons are in the dark has not been too difficult because of the design of the remote. The large round button makes it easy to orient and find the desired buttons by feel. In short the positives are that this bidet makes me feel cleaner than any bidet I have yet had. Strong water pressure, unlimited hot water and features that work well. I feel the negatives: ( big remote with no backlight that sometimes needs special attention to work, bright but useless nightlight, momentary cold spurt before water warms) are all totally outweighed by the positives which is why I give 5 stars at this point. As long as this bidet lasts longer than two years it will be 5 stars in my book.

Good With Some Caveats
This review is written with the perspective of one who has owned a non-electric bidet that was cold water only and nothing else. I recently used the restroom at a friend’s house with a bidet similar to this one, and I was sold regarding the warm water and heated seat in the dead of winter. I simply had to have one, and after much research, I chose this one. Pros: Warm seat is nice, especially on cold winter days/nights. The warm water is a game changer, especially living in a very cold climate. No more freezing my tush and other parts off with icy, cold water. The heated seat is wonderful and comfortable. The hole is smaller than our old seat, but my large husband says it is fine for him. I am petite and small, so it is good for me. I also like that once you have your preferences set with the remote, you don’t really need it much and I just use the dial on the side of the seat which makes it much more convenient. The remote is a nice option to have because memorizing where buttons are on the side of the toilet or trying to reach them would seem to be very difficult, especially for larger bodies. Cons: A tiny burst of cool water can sometimes come out when turning it on, but it is only for a millisecond. Also, maybe all electric bidets are like this, but once you select an option from the remote or dial on the side, it takes several seconds for the water to heat up before it starts. I guess I am used to our old bidet where as soon as you turned the knob, water immediately came out. I don’t know about you, but when I’m in the bathroom, I just want to get it all over with and leave ASAP. But, I guess this is a decent exchange for having the warm water. The fan feature is kind of a joke. It doesn’t really blow much air out and I would have to sit there for at least five minutes for it to really dry anything. So I just use toilet paper and get my business done to get out of there. Sometimes there is a delay in the remote when pushing a button. I have to push a button two or three times before the function actually works. The directions as far as how to install this are absolute garbage. Luckily, I have installed bidets before and it was mostly straightforward. Also, the cord is very short. I think it’s only 3 feet, and the outlet where we needed to plug it in is about 4 feet away. So, we had to buy a waterproof extension cord and now it’s fine. Maybe this is my mistake for assuming this, but the night light really serves no purpose. I thought it would light up the toilet ring or the water so you could see it at night, but this is not the case. It just glows on the side of the toilet and doesn’t illuminate anything in the water. Also, the water pressure is abysmal, and I had doubts it would clean anything. Much to my surprise, it does a fine job with that. Also, being a female, I have tried all three positions on the nozzle to try to get the water to hit me just right when the female option is utilized, and it does not do that. I have to wiggle around on the toilet seat in order for it to spray in the correct spot. That is the only major downfall that I would say is “wrong” with this bidet. Maybe a man designed it, lol. All in all, what I was really looking for in a new bidet was a heated seat with warm water, and this one meets those requirements. The other cons I listed are cons, but they’re not dealbreaker for me since I wasn’t really buying the bidet for those features. They’re just things to be aware of.

Highly Recommend
After using this smart bidet seat for several weeks, I can confidently say it’s one of the best home upgrades I’ve made. The warm water wash is consistent and soothing, and the adjustable pressure, temperature, and nozzle position allow you to find the perfect setting. The heated seat is a game changer that make the whole experience feel luxurious. The installation was surprisingly simple, and the instructions were clear. The control panel is user-friendly, and I appreciate the energy-saving mode that keeps things efficient without sacrificing comfort. Everything feels well-built and reliable. Overall, this bidet seat delivers a level of cleanliness and comfort I didn’t realize I was missing. If you’re considering upgrading your bathroom, I highly recommend it.

Super cheap, Surprisingly good!! You must buy it!
The build quality is super good. Like I was surprised at the Nice thick plastic, slow close lid and it looks expensive. Remote works well and is easy to mount with tape or screws included. Fan works well, heated seat is super comfortable with 3 heat levels and warm water is a game changer. Best feature is the twist knob night light, with that tbh you don't need the remote, twist back for the rear forward for feminine, and tap middle to stop and middle again for dryer. It has a seat sensor so auto stops if you stand up and wint activate unless your sitting. Honestly for $250 it's the best bidet ever. Super fast and easy install too. Literally the only downside is the water pressure is on the weaker side but there is also a turbo button which is slightly stronger. Tbh I like it like this cuz other bidets give an anema. Please buy it you won't regret it unless it doesn't fit or you don't have a power outlet!

It features a self-cleaning nozzle, heated seat, multiple wash modes, a warm air dryer, and a soft-close lid—all controllable via remote. Installation is quick and easy, and the night light adds a nice touch for nighttime use.
