⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Craftsmanship – One of the Best Values in Fixed Blades
As someone who owns and regularly uses knives from a wide range of brands, I can confidently say that BPS Knives continues to impress—and this Finn Lite is another excellent example of what they do so well. First, a quick note on the brand: BPS is a Ukrainian company, and in my experience, they consistently deliver honest, no-nonsense craftsmanship at a price point that’s hard to beat. I own several of their knives, and every one of them has been extremely well made, highly functional, and ready to work right out of the box. This knife is no exception. The edge comes razor sharp out of the box—not just “factory sharp,” but genuinely usable for carving, food prep, or camp tasks immediately. The Scandinavian grind performs exactly as expected—clean, precise cuts with excellent control. The walnut handle is another highlight. BPS does a great job with their wood handles, and this one feels solid, ergonomic, and warm in hand, with a natural grip that works well in both dry and slightly damp conditions. Fit and finish are excellent for the price. The full tang construction gives it a reassuring, durable feel without adding unnecessary weight, and the overall balance makes it a pleasure to use for extended periods. The included leather sheath is also well done—simple, functional, and sturdy enough for real field use. What really stands out to me is the value. You’re getting a knife that performs like something in a much higher price tier, without any gimmicks—just good steel, good geometry, and solid craftsmanship. If you’re looking for a dependable small fixed blade for camping, carving, or general utility, this is an easy recommendation. BPS has quietly become one of the best value brands out there—and this knife shows exactly why.

Hard to beat for the $
Hard to beat for the money!! Super sharp, full tang, Scandinavian grind with a sharp 90° spine in carbon steel. It’s a small knife but very comfortable in the hand. Excellent bushcraft and general purpose crafting knife. This knife hones very easily but needs to be touched up occasionally. The sheath is a nice shape but made from leather that is too thin for a sheath. Either create a liner for it to make it safer or get a replacement. You can also dip it in straight melted beeswax to make it a little stiffer if you don’t want to replace it.

Fantastic & Versatile Little Blade
Every outdoors type person can benefit from this well made and super affordable knife. Compact, lightweight and easily carried, the robust and sharp little blade can accomplish most camping or bushcrafting tasks. Like all BPS knives , it comes with a very sturdy leather sheath that allows for different carry options. Just remember to keep a little oil on the blade to prevent rust.

Well-made
Nice shape. I bought the stainless because I plan to use it around camp for carving spoons and cooking chores and carbon steel leaves a taste, especially when you slice apples with it. The blade is a smidge thick for a pukko knife, but it took a razor edge. My handle wood is lighter than the one pictured but it’s definitely walnut, though it is pretty unremarkable and plain. The sheath, well it’s decently thick leather, with three eyelets along one side, I suppose for putting a string through so you can wear it around your neck, which looks cool, but gets kinda dangerous and also gets tangled up with other stuff, especially when you’re wearing sunglasses on a croaky or wearing a fly fishing vest, or leaning over running a chainsaw. They also made the sheath super tight, and the tension is the only thing holding the knife from falling out, meaning eventually, when the leather stretches, nothing’s keeping the knife from falling out, which is also dangerous when you’re wearing it around your neck… watch out toes! Knife gets 4 stars, sheath gets 1 star.

Very happy.
Amazing knife, especially for the money. Razor sharp out of the box and good feel in hand. Got this one for my father and I'm getting one for myself.

An excellent knife--very good value!
Some people feel that the sheath leather is too soft. I do not agree. True, most BPS knives sheaths are thick stiff leather--but this is appropriate for this knife. This is an excellent knife for carving! The short blade and fine tip allow for excellent and precise control. A thumb on the spine of the knife gives full control for intricate detail work. It is almost suitable for an all round Bushcraft knife, but is just a bit small. Together with a small hatchet--you could do it all. I favour small knives for Bushcraft, experience has told me that they are superior. This knife fits nicely into the utility knife leg pocket on work pants. The steel is, of course good, and it arrives very sharp. The eyelets in the sheath allow you to design your own carrying method. A leather bootlace made into a loop and toggle system would allow it to be hung of a belt without even unbuckling.

Not All That
When the first knife arrived it came without a sheath. I cycled around the AI bots asking for a sheath ONLY. Apparently the AI bots couldn't process that so finally I "chatted" and I was offered a completely new knife with sheath. Although that wasn't what I wanted I said "sure" and "thanks" It arrived 2 days later free of charge, "don't send the other back" Now, the review. I love the size, the scandi-grind and sharpness. I love the size. What I do not love is the screws that stick out from the handle, the rough wood of the handle and the lightweight very tight fit sheath. Believe me when I say that it is not a "high quality" sheath. For the money, yes. Its a decent small blade, but it's not 4 star, and neither us the sheath

Great budget knife
I only own a few knives and this is one of my favorites. I don't think you can beat it for the money. It's well made, has a very nice sheath and came very sharp. I bought it for whittling/carving and food prep which it's very good for. The blade does need to be oiled after it's used a bit to prevent rust but that doesn't bother me. The handle is very comfortable but I'm going to sand it to make it a bit smoother. Overall an excellent small fixed blade knife.

Il mio nuovo coltello da escursione
Coltellino fantastico.
