I own an HP C6180 inkjet printer, which is an all-in-one (scanner, printer, photo-copier, fax machine), and originally use HP cartridges. Alas the printer suffered a complete blockage of inkjets due to lack of use, and then reported a hardware failure on the ink system. I nearly threw the printer out and its been sitting in my "to go to the tip" pile for months, but discovered on the internet a page to clear the hardware ink failure. Having tried this and found it worked, I then set about getting the printer to work, it had always been "lightly used" so should be in very good condition.All the cartridges in the printer had dried up empty and the only ones I had with ink were light cyan, cyan and magenta, so chose to order two sets from Printing Pleasure.Both boxes arrived swiftly from Amazon and over the course of the few days I managed to get all except black working, but the printer kept reporting Black and Cyan were "Expired", the rest were fine.Finally when used a cleaning kit to sort the black, the printer has now almost reached 100% perfect (its about 90%), but the printout showed both black and light cyan are expired.I duly contacted the seller last night and took a photo of the cartridges that were reporting "expired", additionally in my message I type the information regarding the problems on these two. As you can see the Black and Light Cyan are reporting to be made in 2013, and the expiry is 2017!! all the rest in the set are showing 2020 or 2022.Black:Mfg date: 04/30/2013Ink Install: 11/05/2015Ink Expire: 12/03/2017Status ExpiredThe other colour with this problem isLt CyanMfg date: 04/23/2013Ink Install: 11/05/2015Ink Expire: 12/03/2017Status ExpiredAll the others have expiry dates12/03/2022 or 12/02/2020The first thing today I got a reply back as follows:"Are the cartridges not recognized on the printer or do they print badly? How many of them and what problems do they have?"Clearly I have reported two and the problem, plus an image was attached to the email used to send to him to show him the problem. I wrote back again:"As per the image I attached it was the Black and Light Magenta (both and chips reporting expired) so TWO cartridges, I have two boxes, but not tested the other box or the 2nd black . Printer recognizes them, but reports expired and when powering up stops to display screen to say expired... "Very quickly I get a message back"Well. Please send me a photo of the expiry date on the ink. We will send you replacements, but I have to see this date."I had already sent the message with the information and the jpg as proof.So I wrote back again, including the image/jpg a second time."Image was sent on first email to you.. I have attached again. See under Black and Light Cyan"The final message back was:"Carcases should work. Have you checked them in the printer?"My final reply was:"I really dont understand what you are saying....1. Two cartridges (Black and Lt Cyan) have expiry dates for 2017.2. Messaged you with photo to show you these are expired.3. Requested Black and Lt Cyan cartridge replacement.4. Have sent you proof in JPG TWICE as proof they expired..5. You respond to say "will send replacements but need proof, but you have proof, I have emailed you images TWICE!!!!!!!!!)Please send.1 x Black cartridge1 x Lt Cyan CartridgePlease do ASAP. Will be contacting Amazon over this awful communication on this..."At this point, I gave up, and spoke to Amazon, they initially wanted me to send them back, but when I said they had been used, it would not be possible to return as the ink would leak, they immediately refunded me the total cost of both and have passed it over for investigation.Please understand, these cartridges work fine, they are very good quality and worth the price alone, my problem here is the seller who seems to be not really understanding the problem with the expiry dates on 2 of them. The cartridges didn't leak, have not ruined my printer, work fine, but clearly these two have either been sitting on Amazon's shelves for over 2 years or more, or the chip in the cartridge is old and been re-used. Why are the rest fine?I will buy again, as I cant get them anywhere else at the price charged, I just find it a shame the seller has not understood that the cartridges are "expired" and they need to be exchanged FOC, additionally I have done everything to send him the information on this in message and photo and he has not acknowledged it and just sent replacements..Update: 10/03/2019Had an email from seller on Sunday to say replacements would be sent... will update this post if these arrive.Update: 16/03/2019Replacement cartridges for both Black and Light Cyan arrived towards the end of the week (15/03/2019), additionally the seller contacted me to offer a free replacement. Once these arrive the review will be updated again.Update: 19/03/2019Today I received a complete free set of cartridges (on top of the two I got on Friday (Black and Light Cyan), This was a complete set (all 6 cartridges).In view of this, I have changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars, I feel the seller has worked hard to rectify the problems and offering me the two replacements and the free set have indeed helped me to adjust my feedback and review.

I have had this printer in the cupboard for years and was about to throw it away as HP cartridges are ridiculously expensive and not cost effective to replace but thought I would have a look on Amazon first. These are ridiculously cheap in comparison but work really well no issues with compatibility, leaks or poor quality print, really impressed and it has saved me throwing the HP D7160 printer which still has Windows 10 drivers online. I'm not to bothered about the prints lasting forever and any really serious printing I use my sons professional printer for and at this price I can let the grand kids print as well. Recommended and will buy again if all continues to go well.

I had no problems with these at first but then my printer stopped working completely with an INK FAILURE ERROR MESSAGE. My printer is listed by this seller as compatible with their product. The seller has said they will replace any faulty goods but my problem now is a broken printer even with the original ink cartridges refitted and I have no idea how to fix it.

Hate being out of ink then find need to print something off, went onto Amazon and found these print cartridges which are a lot less than the HP ones. Placed into printer had to just clink a few buttons but so far working perfectly.

These cartridges arrived on time. The printer I got from freecycle and indicated that all the inks were outdated. I replaced them with a set of these cartridges. The printer accepted them first time. I printed a photo from my pc and it printed perfectly.Of course only time will tell how permanent the photo is but most of the printers work will not hang on walls so I am very happy. At this price for ink I can always reprint if it fades!

Just what I needed the only issue I had is that one of the ink cartridges developed a leak before it was even used in the printer. Lucky for me I noticed as the ink warning light came on. The down side was I then had to clean the whole printer. Other then that works well

The first print was uneven but that seemed to sort its self out with subsequent prints.Not yet used much but so far so good

My first time buying printer inks from Printing Pleasure, I'm absolutely delighted with their service and their product.I will certainly buy my printer inks from them infuture. Thank You.
