Good Opacity, Adhesion, Sizes Available & Reusable (good if you install incorrectly the first time!)
I purchased a roll of the white window film 75cm x 400cm to cover some windows in my conservatory, to provide a) some privacy from neighbours and b) to help reduce glare and UV from the sun. I decided to trial some on the door in the conservatory, as this is a plain glass pane and looks onto my neighbours. I thoroughly cleaned the window with some washing up liquid mixed well with Zoflora and water in a spray bottle and dried the window (not that I needed to of course but wanted to ensure it was completely clean before applying the film). I didn't want the full pane to be covered as we have a dog and I like to see when he's sat at the door so decided to have a gap. I can't cut straight so decided to put a wave in but kept the straight edge at the top. I can vouch for the reapplication being sound because when I applied it the very first time, I didn't put it on straight! So had to take it all off and reapply it. Application: I used clean water from a spray bottle to wet the window and peeled off the clear backing and placed the film onto the window and it clung instantly. I couldn't find the applicator I had previously bought so use an old bank card to smooth out the water and bubbles. it even clung to the PVS window frame. I did notice a few tiny bubbles appearing after application, but quickly realised that these areas needed a bit extra water as they had cleared when water was pushed through the area. These have been up over a week now and as I hadn't cut off the excess and is still covering the rubber seal on the window, I have noticed that it is starting to peel away from them. So will just go back and reapply some water and trim off the excess and see what happens after another week. I have just read that these window films aren't suitable in direct sunlight, yet say that it helps reduce the UV from the sun... I have installed this window film on a window that is in direct sunlight and have no issues with it at the moment (however, I can't see the edges as I have my tumble drier in from of the window, yes glorified utility room is my conservatory, and not from choice!). My small concern at the moment is, how to clean the windows/window film when they get dirty, because the surface not attached to the window is not smooth and will definitely attract dirt (seeing as I have tumble driers in there and it's a very old conservatory!), and previous experience with these types of surfaces have proved a little difficult to get clean. A good thing about these are that they are reusable and have no adhesive stickiness so won't really get stuck to itself should you end up dropping it towards itself. Dog hairs however love this! The static caused when removing the clear cover is amazing what it will suck to it and stick! Water does help remove this but ideally, keep pets away whilst installing! A little downside to these is the amount of water to be used and ends up all over the place when squeezing out, so get some good absorbent items to help mop it up as you squeeze it out. Otherwise, really is quite easy to install. I have used some colourful D-C Fix window film on a different window and even though they are less messy, can cause an issue if they end up getting stuck to itself... and I haven't found any D-C Fix window film that covers an are like this one. My window pane is 72cm high so this covers them perfectly after being trimmed after installation. I did need my husband to help me install this on the bigger windows though , as the window is too wide and high to apply this on my own. Ending note: I need to buy more as the roll just didn't quite fulfil the requirements (2 large windows and a door covered, need to cover another large window and 3 small windows)... so yes, I will be buying this again!

Very effective for the price
We fitted this to 3 bathroom windows and got the hang of fitting it by the second. Tricky but not too difficult. Another reviewer gives a useful step by step guide. On the plus side - it blocks out loads of bright sunlight and cuts a lot of the heat. But it does make the room look a bit grey/blue dismal. And you can see your reflection inside when the light is on, against the blackness outside. Somehow we managed to stick the wrong side of the first one to the window. So it peled off in one corner. Sounds stupid (and is) but maybe you'll see how if you buy it. Perhaps the manufacturer could have something printed on the plastic you treat off and throw away. Anyway, we turned it over (quite easy) and now they all adhere perfectly.

Very good!
These are much better than some expensive ones I had in the past from a specialised UK co., they do not self destroyed as soon as you touch them and are very easy to apply.

Stay cooler
Absolutely worth a go. It’s a very cost effective way to add privacy and for me to reduce the temperature in a room. I’ve popped it on the windows of my south facing home office - it reduces the ambient temperature by a good 5-10 degrees without cutting out too much light. Fairly easy to apply - definitely spray to window with copious amounts of water and use a squeegee to flatten. Personally, I find it doesn’t have the clarity of glass (I’m using the silver version) as it slightly crinkles when applying but I’m not worried about the view just staying cool. Do measure up first as the popular 44cm is quite narrow and you might have apply in strips.

Tricky install
Tricky to mount on window as it’s quite thin and wants to roll and stick back on itself. The creases look ugly from both sides but the tinting and privacy effect is very good. Probably easier and better suited for smaller areas.

Buy it
I wish I could say it’s a waste of money But we immediately felt a difference in the heat level at home The living/dinning room and kitchen are all together with 6 windows/doors made of glass Got 3m ones (90cm and 75cm) to cover up everything On the photo you can see one with and one without form outside on super sunny day The only thing that I hated was peeling of the layer that doesn’t go to the window and cutting it The house is a lot darker/glommy with the silver ones I got but I think that’s a small price to pay for a cool flat Application isn’t easy as each glass window is over 2,2m And It does let everyone see inside the house at night if your lights are on. Just to be clear But I will now purchase for the rest of the flat. Just have a lot of water and a big spray bottle at hand. Don’t by shy on the soapy side of it either

Frosted white privacy screen great, silver mirrored film impossible!
Easy to install the frosted window privacy screen and really provides great screening for privacy. It’s even reduced the amount of heat from the sun getting through while not compromising on light levels. I however bought the silver mirrored film to install on other windows and found this impossible to install, even when following all the instructions and with 2 people doing the install. The film, different to the frosted vinyl, creased far too easily, and on the only window we managed to ‘complete’, minuscule bubbles appeared despite initially going on relatively smoothly. The failure rate of installing this wasted over £55 of film, and I ended up sending the final roll back for a refund to cut my losses. I have to say I was very disappointed with the silver film after the white frosted privacy screen had gone so well, and not to mention the waste of money on the failed attempts!

Heat blocker
Super easy to install came with all the tools that I needed. It really does work well you can see outside. Nobody can see it except for at night time if your lights are on then they can see in your trailer. It does keep the heat down very well.

Not 100% privacy on inside or out
Not 100% privacy inside or out. It is very hard to see from the outside in with the mirror but if you come up close enough to the glass you can see inside a small amount during the day. It does seem to block a lot of heat out so if you're looking for that this is definitely going to be good for that. I have apartments across from me so I'm trying to get a little bit of privacy from my sliding doors. If you look at the one picture you can see that it's clear to see my daughter's Toy Box in front of the window from outside with the film on. And you can also see that my light on the ceiling is on.

Don't do it
This film isn't mirror enough. You can see right through it.

Absolut top!
