The paper is thick enough to prevent my highlighters and fountain pens from bleeding through. The ring binders haven't bent despite my carelessness, but they are too narrow for me to store a pen in the rings. Overall these have been lovely small notebooks and I'm looking into getting a larger size from the same brand, if possible.
