Worked Good for a While but now Hand Pump also required!
Update 2020: Its been a few years since I got this pump. It worked great initially, probably got 10 to 15 pumps out of this thing with 17.5 PSI. Now the pump can only get up to 15 psi and the motor is sputtering in high pressure mode. Not sure how much life it has left.. Not ideal as I was looking for a hands off solution to get my sup fully inflated. So now I back on the lookout for the perfect electric isup pump once again. And now the hand pump is also required again. 2018: I Use this to pump up my paddle board to 17.5 psi which ideal for my board. I bought this to replace another pump I had which had a terrible quality hose, and was no long usable for high pressure. This pump takes about 8-9 minutes to inflate and the hose attachment is solid. The deflate option is an added bonus. Now I no longer need to cart around the hand pump and this pump is more compact for travel. Good value and quality for 18psi pump!

Inflates and Deflates SUP Board, easy to use.
Birthday present for wife. We tried this out in the driveway with SUPB. Much easier than using the hand pump which was almost as much exercise as actually using the board. The HR (Halkey-Roberts) valve on her paddle board (Ten Toes) is a bit wider than the cut out in the adapter at the end of the hose but was still able to get pressure to 15.5 just by holding the hose tight to the board. So far very happy with purchase though will try to find an adapter that fits the valve better on her board. Might just cut off the one on the hand pump but then that leaves the hand pump useless if ever needed. It took about 15 min to fill the board to 15.5 psi. Pressure was also verified on the hand pump gauge and both numbers agreed. Would recommend paying the extra $25 for this pump as opposed to their older pump which only inflates, though deflating isn't nearly the work load of inflating. The hose did get warm on the end near the pump but quickly cooled with just a little break in the action. Automatically kicked into 2nd stage and also stopped at the preset pressure. In only gave 4 stars because of needing to hold it to the board which is probably more of an issue with the valve in the board as opposed to the pump fitting. Update. With a bit of trying the adapter suddenly locked on. Didn't get anywhere with pumping the board until turned on the engine of the car and then shazam, worked like a charm. If you are trying with the just the ignition accessory setting, turn on the engine and if like us you'll find getting your SUP pumped to full pressure is quick and easy. Def would recommend! Updated to 5 stars

Lasted 3 Seasons, Broke=totally dead, I fixed it.
This has been reliable for 3 years until recently. So that is why I'm giving it 4 stars. A few weeks ago I handed it off to my sister-in-law on her boat, rafted up to mine, so she could finish pumping up her SUP (her pump wasn't pumping above ~.5psi...now I know why from reading other reviews:^)). My pump just died, never started, done? I just used it on my wife's SUP on my boat so what happened? I have two theories: one, the other boat's ciggy lighter port has a corroded connection which didn't provide high enough voltage and somehow this cooked my pump (weak theory); two is that my brother-in-law started his motor after my pump was plugged in and this surge (starter motor disconnecting) fried my pump (strong theory). I like theory 2 as this is a well known occurrence in automobiles known as "Load Dump", all that starter energy in its coils dumps back onto the 12V bus creating a high voltage event. The Seamax has ZERO protection on its 12V input against high voltage transients. The 12V to 5V "78M05" regulator was fried only outputting 2.9V instead of 5V: this explains the total deadness of it as the microcontroller couldn't boot. I bought the 78M05 at Digikey for about $2.00 plus $8.00 shipping:^( It arrived and within about 30 minutes I had the Seamax happy again with its new 78M05. Note screws are T10-Security Pin, but a vanilla T-10 gets just enough purchase to back them out. However, while inside the unit I added a TVS across 12V to GND, "Transient Voltage Suppressors". I happened to have a ~22V BiDir TVS on hand which will protect against > +/-22V events, and I added a 1N4004 in parallel to protect negative events beyond -.7V. If I had a UniDir TVS, no 1N4004 required. So now my unit has a bit of "Load Dump" protection. Don't be too harsh on Seamax for omitting protection as most all automotive Aftermarket Products have zero protection too. So I'd guess ditto for Marine aftermarket stuff. Seamax could add a single UniDir TVS across 12V-GND for about $.05, just saying. Also, No, I won't let sister-in-law touch this repaired unit!

One time use - then completely failed! Buyer Beware!!
You have been warned. Do NOT purchase. There are other options in the same price point. Save yourself the hassle!! Purchased this pump thinking it would be easier to break down the paddle boards after each use and store them. Pull out the pump when ready to use them again. Pulled the pump out of the box. Appeared to be fine. Setup was not complicated. Connected it to the first board and hit the button. Was a little slow, but managed to inflate the board after several minutes. Decided to shut it down at 11psi and take the board up with a hand pump. Connected this pump to a second board to inflate... and nothing. Press the button and hear a click. Nothing more. Pump turns on but will not begin to move any air. Just clicks and stops. Reached out to the company for help. After a dozen emails with instructions on how to replace fuses and trouble shoot they finally admitted the pump was dead. That’s right. 1 use. A single use of the pump and it was fried. Their final solution? Bill me another $20 so they could send a replacement pump. No thanks. Your product was a single use item the first time. I’m not throwing good money after poor customer service and a terrible product. You have been warned!!! Look elsewhere! There are plenty of other options in this price point. I have already ordered a replacement... if I’m going to spend money, it will be on a product that lasts more than single use.

Ahhhhhhh-mazing!!
My husband and I purchased inflatable SUP this summer to travel with and to be honest the manual pumps are just a pain in the rear due to their size. When you are flying you don't want to add any more weight or bulk than you have to and they are ridiculous in size. We purchased this electric pump before going on vacation, tried it out, and immediately said we could throw away the manual pumps... lol! It inflated each board in about 6 min and works perfectly. It starts out slowly and then the big engine kicks in! We unload our boards and start the pump in one and then unload the car and by the time we are done it is too. I love the digital read out and it bounces back and forth to let you know where it is currently in the pump process (psi). Its nice not to have to complete a cardio workout just to air your boards up before you get on the water for an actual workout.. It is also amazing to have the vacuum feature. When traveling (flying) you want those things to be as light as they can be and you just cannot push out all the air manually. The vacuum sucks them down flat and they almost look like they just came out of the original packaging. Its nice and small too, it fit right into my carry-on backpack and we didn't have any issues with TSA. Must have!

Huge Time Saver For Inflatable SUP's
My wife and I bought an Ancheer and Pathfinder inflatable SUP last year and loved them. Pumping them up to 15 PSI...not so much. This year we decided to invest in an SUP pump. This pump worked awesome and took less than 10 minutes to inflate them to 15 PSI. Having the 3 different connectors was a huge plus. We could never quite get them that fully inflated by hand, and it certainly takes a lot of time and wear and tear. The pump hooked up easily to the cigarette lighter/DC connector in our car and worked great. I noticed a big difference on the water that the board was "fully" inflated and not "close to fully inflated". Some people commented on issues with changeover from stage 1 to stage 2 during inflating - we noticed a little bit of a delay on the 1st board (nothing major), and the second board cranked right into 2nd gear easily. Can't speak to the longevity of them since we just got them - but initially, we love them - great purchase, easy to operate, and worth the money!

Save your lungs
Pump is a lifesaver for inflating an inflatable stand-up paddleboard. Hookup the pump, turn it on, then go about getting everything else ready to hit the water. Set the desired PSI and turn it on. Pump is two-stage meaning it inflates quickly until it reaches about 1psi and then the second stage kicks on that completes the high-pressure inflation. Do not be alarmed by the change in sound. It will do that when the second stage kicks in. Do not forget to also use the pump for deflation. Your SUP will be much easier to get back in its storage bag when all the air has been sucked out of it rather than just attempting to force it out via rolling it up. Have used it at least once a week for the past several months and has worked flawlessly. Also remember, with a pump of this nature, if you are pumping up multiple SUP's, give the pump several minutes to cool down after inflating the first otherwise you will burn the motor up. Otherwise, well worth the investment.

Poor fitting, gauge never worked
This pump works ok but the gauge pressure never seemed accurate and eventually crapped out completely after a year or so. Now it just reads 0 all the time and I have to top off with a manual pump to avoid overinflation. I had to fiddle around with the included washers quite a bit to get it to seal on my board. Eventually had to stack 2 of them for a super tight fit or it would just leak air. I'm going to look for a better solution.

Great device that works briliiantly.
Researched quite a few of these so I didnt have to use a flimsy hand pump any further to pump up my SUP. I bought this one for the deflation aspect also. I have used it a couple of times and it is a great product. Pumps it up in about 6 mins to 20psi before shutting off. Does it effortlessly via the car 12v jack. Very impressed and it is fairly quiet as well even when the second pump kicks in. The deflation side is fantastic as well as it allows all the air to be removed and roll it up and pack it away is so much easier. This pump is going to save me heaps of energy for the paddling. Super impressed with this product so far.

Panne

Best pump on the market so far
I bought this pump while thinking "this is crazy money" but I had to roll back on that though ... 100% worth the money .. it took just under 8 min to pump an 10.6 Sup from 0 to 20psi . Simple to use and the shut off is bang on , the pump is not too loud either . It comes with different size seals too ... the deflater is great as it makes it easier to repack ... i do thing the handle doesn't need to be there as it makes it a bit bigger but that is to only thing I found that could be changed ....extremelyhappy
