I had ring cameras all over my house before the criminals cut the feed to my wifi. Lesson learned. I moved and bought this for my apartment. Easy to install on my front door. Adhesive is great, that thing it ON THERE! I was thinking about putting it on the bedroom door as well. But the one is loud enough to scare off anyone. The chime is ok for people with different needs. I also like how turning it on doesn't trigger it, you know, like a smoke alarm. Be safe!

Decent product for the price. 1 out of the 4 did not work out of the package. It was missing the plastic battery tab you have to pull prior to use so maybe the batteries were just dead... Depending on the framing and direction your door opens some of them may have to be mounted differently i.e which part attaches to the stable surfaces vs the moving one. If your door has an edged frame at all, like the pic I attached of my front door, there is absolutely no way to make this work where the magnets will align. I tried every possible side and angle of the door; kind of a bummer that the front door is the one it won't work for, so I'll have to find a different type for that. Overall, the ones I did attach to the sliding doors work great. I was worried the single chime mode wouldn't be noticeable enough but now I almost wish there were a volume setting on it, it's loud! There will be no missing it, which is the point. I have 3 small kids and a couple dogs. My daughters room has a sliding door out to a deck that I always worry about her wandering onto at night (I put that one on alarm mode), and they like to go out and leave the front door open which is a huge worry given that I have 2 large dogs that are not dog-friendly and we live in a neighborhood where everyone's lets their pets wander around without leashes all day. Now I can better tell when the door is opened so I can make sure it gets closed! For the doors we use frequently I change it from chime to alarm mode at night, I really like that it's as easy as flicking a switch to go between them, huge bonus. Overall it's a good product, but only works with standard framing. I plan to order more for our windows soon.

I bought these 4 years ago when my onery toddler figured out he could climb the bookcase next to the front door and unlock the door. And the only time my 2 year old did this, was when he was naked!! Yes, he thought it was so funny to shock our elderly neighbors! So this was a must have for me!! I did have to add a small board on my door to put the alarm on beings there was such a height difference due to my door frame. This was a super easy fix. After 4 years I have never had to replace the batteries and it still works like it's new!! I highly recommend!!

I purchased this for my elderly parents. They were feeling unsafe in their home. These alarms are very easy to install. There is no code to remember, just a switch for on/off/chime settings. The alarm is very loud. It comes with batteries, and 3M adhesive. They are well made and durable. They are magnets that you attach with 3M tape that will not damage the door frame. The alarm goes off when the door is opened and turns off when the door is closed. Great value, easy installation, added safety and I’d highly recommend.

I recently moved out on my own and I wanted to make sure that I felt safe. I was looking for a door chime to just ding to let me know if someone walked in. I planned to set it to alarm mode when I slept. I set it up today and put it on my door, I set just the normal chime mode. I opened the door and the sound was ear piercing, it was SO loud. The good news is that I would definitely hear it from upstairs. But the bad news is that it hurts my ears (and my dog’s) when I walk through the door. I think I have to return it.

These alarms are exactly what I needed for security on vacation with my son who elopes. Super easy to install, just peel and stick, and they’re very loud, which is perfect for alerting us if a door is opened. We’re using them to help keep our autistic son safe, and they’ve brought so much peace of mind. Great value for the price and work exactly as described.

Super easy to install. I installed mine on a cabinet doors. Just take take your time with aligning the magnet to the alarm and it should be pretty smooth and easy. There are two different tones for the alarm. One is the siren and the other a doorbell tone. The alarm was pretty loud in a big open space so I can image in a smaller room it'll be pretty loud. The doorbell tone isn't as loud as the siren though, but it's loud enough to be able to hear it from at least 60' away. There is no volume control so it's just one volume. Nothing too difficult with this item. Just align the sensor and magnet, remove the protective paper from the double stick tape and you're good.
