Review: Excelente - Siempre los eh comprado la calidad es excelente el aroma es intenso y duradero Review: Handy Device & Fragrances That Aren't Subtle - I have not had this (with the Gain fragrance) for long enough to rate how long the fragrance remains before needing to be replaced. If the fragrance were to "die" tomorrow I might drop the rating back to a four star but, to date this is a fiver. Like many cat owners with a litter box in the home, I was looking for something to help with the odor besides what is in the litter itself (depending on what kind you use). There's a wall outlet within a foot of our litter box and that's where I plugged this in. The room is of a fairly good size, (I'd say medium size), has a higher ceiling (in much of it) and I was concerned that the fragrance emitted might not be sufficient in strength and not radiate far from the source. There are three fragrance strength settings (low, medium, and high.) the middle and top settings were so strong I set it on low. I'm guessing this will extend the life of the fragrance as well. The fragrance is noticeable as you start to ascend the stairs nearby, the fragrance wafting out several feet in every direction. At first, I wondered if the low setting was too potent, but I quickly grew accustomed to the (not unpleasant) "Gain" smell. I no longer notice it .... except to notice it does a good job of masking the litter box smell(s). 90% of the time I think it does a great job. There will always be those occasional exceptions when a really stinky poop smell isn't completely covered, especially if your cat doesn't do a good job of covering it, or if the feces remains in the box for a considerable time. That degree of efficiency (90%) is sufficient for me. My wife and I are retired, home a great deal. I clean the box a minimum of four times a day. It only takes me approx. 30 seconds each time on average. I only have one cat, a kitten. If your cat litter box can't be emptied that often it's possible you'll find it struggles with strong, unpleasant odors (human or beast), but if it's on low you can bump up its potency up. If you just want it to maintain the fragrance ambiance in any other type of room, and there are no strong odors to contend with, it should work just fine, even in larger rooms (given the 3 levels of potency). If you are using it for a bathroom, if the room is pretty small, this may be overwhelming, even on the lowest setting. It also might depend on the fragrance you are using. Like the cat box, it's not going to completely hide the strongest odors, but it will diminish the worst of it and possibly even cause extremely potent odors to disappear faster. (Speculation.) Two thumbs up. ## Features - Starter kit includes Febreze Fade Defy PLUG and (2) scented oil refills - Fight household odors with first-day freshness that lasts 50 days on low with digitally controlled scent release - Breathe in the classic fresh fragrance of Gain Original Scent - Low-level indicator light so you know when to refill - Continuous, automatic odor fighting and fresh scent ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09SKN74HP | | ASIN | B09SKN74HP | | Area Odor Remover Type | Air Freshener | | Best Sellers Rank | #124,299 in Health ( See Top 100 in Health ) #153 in Plug-In Air Fresheners & Refills | | Brand Name | Febreze | | Color | Multicolor | | Container Type | Electric Warmer | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (6,863) | | Customer reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (6,863) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 10030772041663 | | Item Dimensions | 15 x 10 x 5 centimeters | | Item Form | Oil | | Item Weight | 1.08 Pounds | | Item model number | 030772041666 | | Manufacturer | P&G | | Manufacturer | P&G | | Model Number | 030772041666 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 030772041666 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Product Dimensions | 15 x 10 x 5 cm; 489.88 g | | Recommended Uses For Product | Fighting odors and providing continuous fresh scent in high-traffic areas | | Scent | Gain Original | | Scent Duration | 50 Days | | Unit Count | 1.74 Fluid Ounces | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Febreze - **Colour:** Multicolor - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 15 x 10 x 5 centimeters - **Item form:** Oil - **Scent:** Gain Original ## Images ![Febreze Odor-Eliminating Fade Defy PLUG Air Freshener, Gain Original, Starter Kit & (2) .87 fl. oz. Try another outlet to make sure it’s not an outlet problem. If the plug in gets warm and you can smell the scent it’s working. I’d still be concerned about the blue light. You can always contact manufacturer, return or exchange **Q: Arr these better than Glade and Air Wick or about the same?** A: While we don't have information about Glade or Air Wick products, with Febreze PLUG Gain Original Scent, you can expect just-right floral notes that will have your guests wondering where you’re hiding that flower garden. Also, you can select the level of intensity to control how much freshness is released. We hope you'll check out our website for even more details. The Febreze Team **Q: Is it dual voltage 110 & 220 V?** A: regular wall outlet, 110 **Q: Do febreeze plug in's contain voc's?** A: Very very good ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excelente *by H***O on 20 November 2025* Siempre los eh comprado la calidad es excelente el aroma es intenso y duradero ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy Device & Fragrances That Aren't Subtle *by J***N on 6 December 2025* I have not had this (with the Gain fragrance) for long enough to rate how long the fragrance remains before needing to be replaced. Lo pongo en el más bajito, y con eso tengo para aromatizar la casa. ## Frequently Bought Together - Febreze Plug In Air Freshener, Odor-Fighting Scented Oil Starter Kit, Air Fresheners for Home and Bathroom and Kitchen, Long Lasting for Strong Odors, Gain Original Scent, Warmer + 2 Refill - Febreze Odor-Fighting Fade Defy PLUG Air Freshener, Gain Moonlight Breeze, Gain Original, 0.87 fl. oz.
