Review: Fantastic Affordable Mini Robot Vacuum - Firstly - it doesn’t come with the googly eyes just couldn’t resist. Secondly - I nearly bought another more expensive mini robot vacuum and I’m so glad I didn’t. The packaging is really well designed and the vacuum (Cuthbert) is smart and compact. I had to suss out how to change the router to 2.4ghz briefly to get it to first connect, but after that it worked fine with the normal WiFi. It didn’t need a lot of set-up to start cleaning, but I’ve gradually tailored the performance a bit more to my specific needs. For example you can split out the map into rooms then just get it to clean one room. He’s even allowed in my teen’s room! Vacuuming by hand admittedly wasn’t ever a popular task in my household, but Cuthbert is keeping everything so much neater and cleaner. For context I have a small bungalow with laminate floor/tiles with one rug. Cuthbert is absolutely perfect for my needs so far. I’m kicking myself that I waited so long to get one! Even secretly enjoy peering through Cuthbert’s dirt reservoir as he glides by and seeing all the dust and dog hair! Surprising what appears in a single day! He has got himself stuck a couple of times, on the flat legs of a spinning armchair and a bath mat, but I set a no go zone in the app around the chair and I just won’t leave a wrinkly bath mat down when he’s on the loose! The stuck messages are quite sweet. I set a virtual wall on the back door. Any downsides? Not really so far, although I haven’t bothered to try the mopping as i’m happy to do that myself with my power mop! One area for improvement is the Alexa skill which is really basic and a bit pointless. The SwitchBot app is much better and does everything I need. Cleaning is pretty quiet, apart from a few seconds of loud whoosh occasionally when it empties its own dust into its base. In summary - the Switchbot K10+ pro is priced like a budget robot vacuum but delivers everything I expected from a premium one. Love it! Slightly addicted!
Review: Doesn't work - It won't connect to the app, connects to the WiFi fine and says it connected with a voice prompt but the app says network error so we can't access any of the features. It seems to pick up dirt okay but I think it's stuck on the lowest setting, maps the room and cleans but we have to physically press the button on the device to get it to start a clean. We have to keep an eye on it otherwise it tries to jump off the step into the kitchen, which kind of defeats the purpose. I'm a home assistant user, so im pretty technical and couldn't get this to even connect to its native app never mind even attempt connecting it to home assistant.

A: 1.Incorrect Wi-Fi password, please enter the correct Wi-Fi password. 2.Switchto a 2.4GHz network for pairing, as 5GHz networks and enterprise routers are not supported. 3. Keep the robot within a range with good Wi-Fi signal strength.

**Q: Unable to create partition map in the app？**
A: 1.The robot needs to start mapping from the Auto-empty Station 2.Do not move the robot during the first mapping process to avoid locating failure 3.If robot can't return to the Auto-empty Station after first task, check and remove any obstacles

It is very easy to do the setup. It has plenty of smart features. I love the edge brush, it cleans a lot better in the corners. It can also clean in between chairs and it can squeeze in small spaces. Mopping is not the best but I only use it for vacuuming. The station is a bit loud so you might want to account for it as you can vacuum in other rooms as the vacuum can be very quiet. It has room mapping so you can vacuum in a specific room which is great and also has no go zones. You can hook it up with most smart homes. The roller is great for hairs compared with my old one. But all in all, great power and the fact that is so small and goes to places that my old one wasn't, it is great. Would definitely speak about this with all my friends.
