I couldn't decide between a color that would go well in our kitchen or more of a non-color that would blend with the dishwasher. I took a gamble and picked this silver model to match our stainless steel dishwasher. (I flipped a coin between silver and gunmetal.) This one looks perfect on our dishwasher.I love the simple sliding action of this sign. This is a lot more practical than a magnet where you actually twist the magnet back and forth. This one won't scratch the dishwasher.As another reviewer pointed out, yes, this item is made out of paper and it could get damaged if you get it wet.Solution: Don't get it wet.Seriously, are people having water balloon fights in their kitchens?
