AEM 2820385 DryFlow Air Filter for Ford F-150/F-250/F-350

Great product, works as advertised

Fits perfectly in my stock 2014 f150 intake. Also, my gas mileage went back up to 16mpg. Before this, i was getting 15mpg with a ram air intake. What sucks is that i can feel a big difference in acceleration when at a stop. It is slower to accelerate with the stock intake despite having a dry filter that gets more air vs stock filter. I. Going to miss hearing the turbos spool upon acceleration. :(

Stop wasting money on filters and buy this! Buy this once, clean it when you are due for a new filter, and throw this right back in! It takes 2-3 filter changes for this product to pay for itself. This was installed in my 2023 F-150 Powerboost and it was truly perfect. It fits perfect and works perfectly! The value for the money is hard to beat. As I said before, 2-3 filter changes and this thing has paid for itself - the perks of it being reusable!

My 2012 F-150 5.0 was in need of a new air filter. Like many people out there, I was faced with the choice of a disposable air filter or a reusable air filter. My previous truck was a Toyota Tacoma that I used an oiled K&N air filter in. The K&N worked well for about the first 100 miles or so, but then the gas mileage tanked. I had also read reviews online that the K&N let in too much junk into the engine. Needless to say, the K&N was not an option. I decided to give the AEM DryFlow filter a shot. I am glad I did. Pros: 1)I've noticed a slight bump in gas mileage. Around the same time I replaced the stock filter with the AEM, a major construction project started that slowed down my drive to work. Despite the added stop and go due to the new construction traffic, I noticed a bump of .3 to .4 MPG. 2) There is a noticeable increase in throttle response. 3) AEM provides great filtration. 4) The filter is cleanable/reusable Cons (ish?): 1) The price is a bit high at first. Although this filter will pay for itself in the next year or so. Thinking of an air filter for your F-150? Get this one and enjoy.

Makes truck sound a bit louder and possibly the turbos but it’s wishful thinking. Extremely thick like the oem white filter but less restricted. It fit right in and no issues installing it. Check engine light did come on about 100 miles after but went away after about 50 miles on a 23 powerboost. No noticeable difference in power or gas mileage but without a tune or better fuel not much expected

I've only had this filter for less than a day but I'm already loving it. Previously I've had a K&N filter on my truck which I have just NOT been happy with (didn't realize I was unhappy with it till recently). My truck has always struggled with hesitation, rough idle, and lack of responsiveness. It's a V6, but still hasn't acted like a V6. While perusing the online forums, I discovered that K&N filters aren't good for F-150 2004 year model and up. Figured I would give this a shot. I snapped it in, took it out and gave it a test. Incredible performance increase. On ramp to the highway went from 40-75 in about 2.5 seconds. Never had my truck be so responsive. Driving it's like it's not having any problems breathing whatsoever. It's like someone gave my truck antibiotics when it had a sinus infection lol. My truck is my baby and I spend a lot of money making sure it's well maintained but have always struggled with performance. I was about to get a tuner but now I don't think so. We'll see how MPG does when I get gas again after driving, but so far it's night and day. Still has that low throaty "growl" that I grew to love with my K&N. Definitely recommend! It's THICK too - I was worried it might impede the airflow. But thicker filter means more sq inches of media, just like in your furnace filter.

It’s more of a seat-of-the-pants kinda feel, I don’t believe it made more power. The distance between the pleats makes a difference on how my truck breathes. The stock filter is a very tight weave and borderline restrictive, but this AEM unit allows the engine to dig deeper, which like I said you feel it when you step into the throttle. I’d recommend this unit, plus being a dry filter it will last a lifetime between cleanings.

Perfect. I don’t see difference in performance and mileage but its washable so I always have a clean filter be rinsing it once a month. It save a lot of money between those non-washable filter

Super quick and easy to install on my 2016 Ford F-150 thanks to accessibility of air filter compartment. Noticed a bit better fuel economy ~0.5L for 100km which translates into 2.5%. Didn't expect any "wow" numbers anyways. As soon as I installed it, the truck became noticeably more responsive to accelerator pedal. Overall: good air filter, recommend.
