They are not outside grazing year round with their weather so I imagine they are being fed grain when they are indoors. Hence the word predominantly along with the lack of grass fed, pasture raised or whatever term you want to see on the label. Kerrygold butter is the same way. **Q: Is this jar plastic or glass?** A: The jar is plastic. **Q: Is Nanak desi ghee made whpping the curd or directly from the milk fat?** A: In don't know what it is made of but this was the worst ghee I've ever used. It tastes and chews like wax. Something is not quite right with it. **Q: Is it made from Desi(indian Breed) cows?** A: No it’s product of Canada ## Frequently Bought Together - Nanak Desi Ghee Clarified Butter - Premium Quality, Keto Friendly, Certified Paleo, Lactose-Free, Source of Vitamins A & D Great Alternative for Butter Suitable for Cooking (28 oz) - Authentic Royal - Naturally Aged Long Grain Indian White Basmati Rice - 15 lbs - Patanjali Grass Fed Cow Ghee 1Lt- Energy Infused, Low in Lactose, Low in Casein, Non-GMO, Vegetarian, Gluten free, Keto and Paleo friendly. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/6407750-nanak-pure-desi-ghee-clarified-butter-28-ounce-jar](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/6407750-nanak-pure-desi-ghee-clarified-butter-28-ounce-jar) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
