UGEARSMechanical Wooden 3D Puzzle Model Stagecoach Construction Set

I've previously completed the WoodTrick Locomotive and the WoodTrick Pumpjack. This UGear model (Stagecoach) was MUCH easier to assemble and the motion of the finished product was much smoother. The pieces on the UGear came out cleaner and fit together nicely. You still need to take your time to sand and wax the gears and frictional parts, but you'll find this one a straight forward build. Based on how impressed I was with the fit of the pieces I ordered and have just received the UGear Grand Prix car so it will be next.

I’ve done about 10-15 of these wooden 3D puzzle models, and this one was among my favorites. Just the right amount of challenge, with well fitting parts and nice touches. This along with the locomotive were the most enjoyable. It took me about 8 hours to complete, moving pretty slowly ie being very careful in popping the pieces out of the laser cut sheets, and sandpapering rough edges.

Really like the finished stagecoach, BUT, be prepared to follow directions carefully. Sand everything. Assembling the wheels was an adventure. Oddly, I assembled the horses exactly as shown but their feet don't touch the ground. Very strange!! But I enjoyed the assembly and the finished product!

This was purchased as a gift, and the person receiving it just loved getting and assembling it. Turned out to be a fantastic project.
