This is my 2nd Teleprompter from Neewer, my first one is smaller than this one. I film a lot of auditions at home as well as film my own sketches. As much as I liked the first teleprompter, the assembly every time was a nuissance, especially because I have a lot of gear/set up. It worked for about a year until and I saw this one had zero assembly. The only downside is that the case for this one is big (because it's already assembled together). This one comes in a big canvas like bag whereas my smaller one came in a smaller but nicer hard boxed container (kinda like a briefcase). I prefer the latter's box.

When I opened the box, I was surprised by how minimal the contents were. Inside, there was only the main casing that mounts onto a tripod with the camera, and a small Bluetooth remote that connects to a smartphone or tablet. That’s it—nothing else. I paid ₹10,500 for this in January 2026, and considering what’s included, the price does feel inflated.That said, I understand the reasoning. This is a niche product meant mainly for creators who need to read scripts on camera, so demand is limited and the company likely prices it higher to stay profitable. Still, the contents don’t look like something that should cost over ₹10,000.One more thing worth mentioning: when I received the Amazon package, the outermost seal was already broken, suggesting possible tampering. This was concerning at first. However, after opening the box, everything inside appeared untouched and unused. I’m not sure why the outer seal was open, and while it raises suspicion, there were no signs that the product itself had been disturbed.The build quality is outstanding. The finish is flawless, the metal construction feels solid and reliable, and there is genuinely nothing to complain about in terms of quality. From a craftsmanship standpoint, the product is excellent. Buy without hesitation.

I needed this for a project where I needed to read a lot in front of my camera and I didn't know if I was going to keep it afterwards. I honestly thought about becoming a YouTuber after using this thing!The alloy frame is super durable and although it is heavy, if you have a decent tripod you shouldn't worry. I mounted it all within about 5 minutes after unboxing it, so it was pretty self explanatory as well. I was able to use my Sony ZV-E10 II and a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and it was able to preform with both cameras brilliantly, so compatibility should not be an issue if you have any mirrorless camera. It also started raining outside while I was filming and I was able to continue because of the canvas/plastic material hood that goes over the camera, it protected my equipment from the elements pretty well.The teleprompter app worked well with my tablet and the remote control had seamless connectivity making reading the script I had incredibly easy. The glass is easy to clean as well so when I got home I just wiped it off and no smudges were detected.I still use it to this day and mounting and unmounting it from my tripods is easy and effortless. It was a great purchase!

Neewer does it again!! I love this thing. I use it to shoot shorts all the time and it is the perfect mid point between the cheapy things designed for mobile phones and the crazy expensive ones for broadcast. Does everything it claims and does it well. Easily accommodates my Lenovo tablet - IN PORTRAIT!! So it works really well for giving yourself a narrow width to minimise eye-scanning movements and plenty of height to see what's coming.It's really easy to set up once you get your head around it, and the carry case is great. It's a little on the cheap side being just fabric and foam, but it's sturdy enough to throw in the boot (trunk) and take on a job. The remote is also pretty decent, if a little basic. But it works and connects easily. The software is also pretty good if not amazing. I do really appreciate the cloud file management though. Just upload the doc on your writing device and it'll be available on your teleprompter device. Be nice if we could just link to Google Docs and avoid the cloud entirely, but it's perfectly good enough.
