This car stereo absolutely blew me away! CarPlay and Android Auto run flawlessly, and the touchscreen is lightning-fast and super smooth. Installation was a breeze — I had it mounted and ready to go in just 15 minutes maybe even less. The backup camera is a fantastic bonus, delivering clear visuals even at night was very easy in my car to install. Bluetooth pairs instantly, and the sound quality is crisp and full whether you’re on a call or blasting your favourite playlist. Plus, the phone mirroring feature is perfect for maps, videos, or keeping passengers entertained. Can play out aloud through the unit or hook up to your Bluetooth or AUX. Modernised my old polo which had the basics. Now I have touch screen apple CarPlay for my iPhone. Overall, it’s an incredible value for anyone looking to give their car a modern upgrade without swapping out the entire head unit. Highly recommend!

I bought this head unit for my retro vehicle and honestly wish I’d done it sooner! Setup was incredibly straightforward – even for someone who prefers a clean, factory-style install. The unit comes with a variety of mounts and attachments, so no matter your vehicle, you’ll be able to get it fitted securely. If you're meticulous like me, you’ll appreciate how seamlessly it can be integrated to look like it’s always been there. Functionality is spot-on – using the device, you’d think it cost at least double, especially with how well Android Auto works. It covers all the features I was looking for without breaking the bank – the value for money is genuinely amazing. One feature I didn’t expect (but really appreciated) was the ability to still use my existing Bluetooth stereo simultaneously with the unit, which makes integration even more seamless. If you're looking to modernise your classic car without ruining the aesthetic, this is a fantastic solution. Highly recommended!

Edit- April 12th, four months after purchase. Android Auto Bluetooth connection keeps dropping out to unit. LAMTTO have released a fix for this, and have updated their most recent product page with the fix: "For Android Users (Android 16 or lower):Having trouble with Android Auto disconnecting? A quick OTA firmware update solves it for good.How to fix:Grab the latest "Evelink" app from Google Play (version 20260318-1057). Go to "Superlink - Android" mode.Connect via Wi-Fi mirroring.Confirmation message: "Android 16 auto-connect issue fixed" I have done this, and it's fixed my issue ####### I had watched a few YT videos on this product, so I was hoping I was going to be happy with my purchase in what is a crowded market full of similar devices. Unboxing the device, I saw everything was well packaged, a good sign. I plugged in the cigarette lighter adapter in, noting that it had a pass-through USB port on it, so if you had (like me) been using the cig lighter port for a USB charger, you could still do this. Nice touch, much appreciated! The screen worked immediately it was plugged in (USB-C port, also a tick in the box), and I connected up the AUX cable, as that is what my car had for audio input. This sounds much better than either the inbuilt speaker on the unit, or piping it via an FM signal, both of which are options. Phone connection via bluetooth was super easy, barely an inconvenience. Once connected, the phone reconnected very quickly. The screen was responsive and no noticeable lag. It totally resembled the Android Auto experience I had got used to in my other car. No complaints. There is also in the box, a rear camera. I haven't installed it in my car, although the lead you get is very long, and would easily get to the back of my car. Mounting it in my car would be a hassle, but I can see the utility of it for a parking camera. maybe I'll get around to it. The camera quality is quite decent though. In terms of mounting- you get a mount for the windscreen or a plastic mat (which sticks to the dashboard I guess) using a suction cup. You get a mount for the dashboard- either you can screw it in, or use the 3M sticky pad. Unfortunately, I have knocked off a star here- another vendor of these screens provides a stand that is slightly bendy, and thus can deal with a dashboard that is curved. These days, ALL dashboards have curves. I ended up having to use screws to mount it on the dash (broken a cardinal rule of mounting), otherwise it would have blocked my vision too much when driving had I used the windscreen mounting option. These are just my first impressions, will update if it changes.

Product failed within the first 12 months, the seller provided a replacement. The replacement item failed within its first 12 months as well. They wont replace this one. Make your own decisions on the quality of the products

I rate this 5 stars due to its ease of use, features and performance. I drive a Mercedes CLA coupe and the installation parts are not suitable for my car. I also own an old Nissan Tiida and this is ideal for that car which only has a Japanese navigation and media screen which is all in Japanese. On unpacking you see that it is very well made and the instruction leaflet is good. Plug the unit in and the screen gives a QR code which loads instructions for the unit. I use a Google pixel phone which connected immediately. Bluetooth connects via Evelink app and from there everything is simple. Music and Navigation maps load easily and the display is crystal clear. Sound from the speakers is good but my car speakers have better sound. The touchscreen works instantly as does the voice activation. There is small rear view camera with full instructions on how to fit it. This is a good looking unit which performs to a very high standard. I cannot fault it and look forward to installing it on my other vehicle.

I have been very pleased with the screen, it was an incredibly easy setup and looks great. I wanted to get something that was more on the budget friendly side and didn't need installing directly into the car and this checked all those boxes. Lots of options in how you have it mounted, the suction cups and extendable adjustable mount is perfect and holds great. I have had one occasion where it came loose but that seemed to largely be an error on my part as I had it at an angle that placed a lot of strain on the mount. When looking at different options this came out on top for me especially as other options were much more expensive or were cheaper but lower quality. The screen is great quality and a good size and using bluetooth connects easily whenever you turn on the engine. The in built speakers were a godsend as my car speakers are awful so being able to use the screens in built ones has meant i have still been able to have an enjoyable experience, it does have multiple options of ways to connect to the car speakers which i’m sure are great but due to my speakers being damaged i cannot testify to that. Overall i’d recommend this to anyone, whilst of course it won’t beat an in build display it is perfect for me for a fraction of the cost.

The product itself is superb. Easy to connect. It just works and is so simple. The downside is the bracket / connectors to fix to the car are rubbish, too wobbly and they do not keep a tight connection. Also the cables stick out too far making it look ugly, you need to buy a 180' connector which puts the wires behind the unit. A bit more thought into fixing and connectivity and it would be very good. There is also quite a bit of glare/reflection from the screen, a hood would improve this. I bought a cd slot connection which is excellent.

I only got this portable CarPlay unit yesterday, but so far I’m impressed. Setup was a lot easier than I expected. I plugged it in, paired my phone, and CarPlay connected straight away. The screen itself is bright and responsive, and voice commands through Siri worked smoothly for music and navigation on my drive this morning. I haven’t had much chance to test every feature yet, but the backup camera is already a big plus. The wide-angle view makes reversing into tight spots less stressful, and the picture quality is much better than I expected at this price. Sound-wise, I tried both the built-in speaker and FM transmitter. The built-in one is decent for quick use, but pairing through Bluetooth gave me much better sound through my car speakers. Obviously, I’ll need more time to see how reliable it is long term, but first impressions are very positive. It feels like it’s given new life into my older car, and if it stays this stable, it’ll be a game changer for me.

If you have an older car or one that doesn't have smart apps or android auto, this is a very easy and affordable option! It is packed with features and it works with my android and my wife's apple phone. I specifically get this because I wanted to use android auto and Google Maps on a car that did not come equipped with navigation. This display is perfect, it is large and high definition. Android auto is very responsive. You can also use it as a stand alone media player for you car and it will connect to your cars bluetooth. When you have it in android auto mode it can play sounds and media through its built in speaker or it can use your cars speakers, very nice! It comes with many mounting options but the suction cup is so great it sticks right onto the dashboard!! The only think can could be better is the charging port or cable. It is on the side, makes it visible if you are going for a clean looking display. I wish the port was in the back. I will be getting a right angle slim charging cable and it will take care of that. Overall I'm very happy with it.

La devolví porque vino con un defecto en el aux y CarPlay. Pero si no tienes ese problema el producto podría valer el precio.

I had recently started a Firewood Processing and Supply company and had purchased a 2016 Nissan Navara Pickup Truck to do my deliveries in, the only feature missing from this great pickup was Apple CarPlay or Android Auto integration. I had been looking at after market options for sometime and after reading countless reviews and watching the required 250 YouTube videos🤣😂. I decided to go with the 9inch LAMTTO Smart Screen. This unit arrives very well packaged in an unbranded box simply marked Smart Screen, this unit was super easy to install and came with unexpected bonus feature of Bluetooth connectivity which was a game changer in terms of just needing to use one USB-C cable to connect to the Navara dashboard located cigarette 12/24v port. The screen resolution at 1024 x 600 gives a crisp and sharp HD resolution with a capacitive touch screen which I find very responsive with the only exception being the ‘start’ button whilst using Google Maps, which on my unit requires 2-3 touches to start, but works great from my iPhone. The sound quality is fantastic with audio being routed via Bluetooth to the Navara’s excellent audio system, I am super impressed with this unit and it has made using my iPhones features without the need to touch my phone whilst driving. The best feature for me is using the navigation feature which provides a much more accurate and visible screen than that of my iPhone 13 Pro, whether you use Maps, Waze, Google Maps or some alternative navigation software this is a must have unit. The unit also provides voice activated features using Siri and Google Assistant, which actually works really well, I use this for calling customers on route to make my firewood deliveries. The unit also as a Mirrorlink feature which allows you to watch videos whilst stationary, although I have not yet had a chance to stop and try this feature. In summary I would highly recommend the LAMTTO Smart Screen 9 inch unit if you are in the market for a after market Apple CarPlay or Android Auto unit this is great value and works well with a fantastic display. The only thing I would advise is purchase a padded case to keep the unit in and remove it from the vehicle after use as the ease of installation makes it an easy target for sticky fingers.
