I purchased this Hikvision 4G camera for outdoor remote monitoring, but my experience has been disappointing. First, there is no option in the Hik-Connect app to turn off the continuously blinking blue LED. Surprisingly, the same camera can be added to the EZVIZ app, where the blue LED can be turned off. It makes no sense that Hikvision's own Hik-Connect app does not provide this basic setting while the EZVIZ app does. The biggest problem is the PTZ function. Almost every time the camera restarts, the PTZ stops working properly and the camera does not automatically recalibrate or initialise the pan/tilt movement. Restarting again does not solve the issue. I had to reset the camera and configure it again to get the PTZ working. Finally, the camera stopped rotating to one side completely. Power cycling, restarting and troubleshooting did not fix the problem, so I had to initiate a return through Amazon. I also faced 4G connectivity issues with Jio SIM and had to test other networks before using BSNL. For a 4G PTZ camera designed for remote locations, reliability after a power restart is extremely important. Having to physically reset and reconfigure the camera just to restore PTZ functionality defeats the purpose of remote monitoring. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this camera for remote locations or unattended outdoor installations.

Good product; satisfied connecting with my IP network. It won't work with POE power supply; I'm using the given 12v adaptor. Good for wide area view. I'm using it 60 m away from the road; I can't expect the vehicle number plate details clearly; distortion is there even at 2K view. But vehicles and human movements are capturing and recording perfectly. Auto hybrid smart—white light and IR light change over—works perfect at nights. Alarm sound well audible. Outside camera mic audio is well designed and captures clear sounds. Not tried with the 4G SIM network.

By the time I discovered that the product was not as advertised, I was told that it could not be replaced. This is completely unfair to customers. I am equally disappointed with both the seller and Amazon. The seller listed features that I cannot find on the camera, while Amazon failed to provide a reasonable solution when I reported the issue. I expected Amazon to protect customers when a product does not match its advertised specifications, but that did not happen in my case. Buying from Amazon gave me confidence that customer satisfaction would come first. Unfortunately, this experience has made me lose that confidence. If technical products cannot be replaced after proper testing, customers are left with no real protection. I strongly recommend that buyers be extremely careful before purchasing this product. Do not rely only on the product description. Verify the seller, read the replacement policy carefully, and be aware that if the product does not perform as advertised, getting a replacement may be far more difficult than expected. Very disappointed with both this seller and Amazon's handling of this issue. I sincerely hope Amazon reviews its policies and takes stronger action against misleading product listings to protect its customers.

I purchased the **HIKVISION 4MP Smart 4G Hybrid Light Mini Pan/Tilt CCTV Camera** mainly for its **pan/tilt (rotation) functionality. Unfortunately, within a month time, the camera completely stopped rotating left and right, making the product practically useless for surveillance. The service center experience is even worse than the product: * First, they said the camera does not rotate. * Then they said they will discuss internally and update, but no clear response came. * Later, they changed their statement again and asked me to connect the camera to a PC and perform some unknown function. I followed all their instructions, tried everything suggested, but nothing worked. There is no proper diagnosis, no accountability, and no solution from the company. This shows a complete lack of technical clarity and customer support. When you pay a premium for a brand like Hikvision, you expect reliability and professional after-sales support, but this product delivers neither. ⚠️ Strong warning to buyers DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL. Once it develops an issue, you will be stuck with confusing explanations and zero resolution from the service center. Very disappointing product and even worse service.
