Compost - its alive!
As other reviewers had stated, can be quite tricky to assemble. ANY usual attempt at applying 'Brute force and ignorance' results in snapped plastic lugs (amidst much colourful language).Well, it has survived the winter, no evidence of rat damage and the only improvement i made was a large brick on the lid to stop the lid flapping off into the distance during windy days.

Pleased with product, hell to construct
The first instruction is place on level ground...this is absolutely vital. I tried to do this single-handed on slightly uneven ground and the number of times I got the the panels more or less in place and balanced only to have it all collapse like a house of cards (onto the delphiniums). I nearly cried. The instructions say to put in the bottom 'half' panels first i.e. to build from the ground up. I eventually found it much better to put the top 'half' panels in first as they have an extra plastic lug to keep them together. I think the bottom ones are designed to be easier to remove to dig out the compost. The capacity is great for the money. I bought the soil guard separately; again, I think this will only work to keep vermin out if you are on level ground and achieve a good fit between it and the bin.

Does it's job Well, gets HOT!
Very impressed, I invested in a compost thermometer at the same time of buying this and occasionally probe the contents. I have seen up to 60 degrees C inside this composter a couple of days after adding a fresh layer of shredded material which shows that the process is superbly effective at killing weed seeds etc. Now, in November, it's averaging 40 degrees C in there. The walls are definately made of an insulating material as it feels warm to the touch.

Decent Composter. Not fly proof.
Decent composter unit. Looks great tucked away at the side of our garden. The lid is however a little flimsy and each time we lift it up we get hit in the face with a swarm of fruit flies. These units need to be sealed up and vented with mesh instead of large gaps and holes for fruit flies to enter and breed. Of course this isn’t the only unit that is made this way and this one is probably the best choice for its size. Apart from the infestation and the fact it’s a little flimsy we are reasonably happy with our purchase so far.

Assembled in a few minutes after initial whaere does this bit go.
Quite sturdy although top does tend to come off a little too easily. Little clips tend to break off on their own but still standing after nearly a year - waiting to see what compost is like.

Great
Great product, easy to assemble and I am happily filling the bin with everything possible. The only comment I have is that it doesn't give any information about how long it will take for compost to be ready

Thermo is King
Not sure why called Thermo King as no special insulation I can figure. Nice size for a family garden. Easy to fill and easy to get access to your lovely compost,Negative - putting together the bin was quite wobbly and tended to come apart. Only when you begin to fill does it stabilise.

Avoid - buy a round one
I bought it because I thought it would make best use of the space, being rectangular and tall. Even after the best attempts to make the ground level it still buckles and falls apart with use. It is over-engineered and in too many flimsily-held together parts. As other reviewers have said, it is just plastic – nothing special or "themal". There are too many holes and slits in it to allow composting to work. The contents dry out, particularly if the composter is exposed out in the garden. It is simply hopeless; no compost after a year. I really regret buying it. The round sealed bins, which I also have, are still the best, and are more vermin-proof. One would never choose this over a round, sealed bin. I've only had it a year, but I would guess its reliance on small plastic connections make it less long-lasting with respect to sun and frost degradation.

Lieferung war i.
